I thought that too but I read 6 years on Tundra Solutions. Weird.
Dude I'm the Mangler. I have zero desire to attempt the timing belt job. A few years ago I broke the rear wiper arm on the Rav4. Last week I finally got a new one from Toyota and broke it in the same exact spot while trying to install it. Terrible design but I stayed true to my name. I'll happily fork out the $1000 on this job.

Good to know, maybe something weird with mine. This was on the rehabbed Sequoia so could have been other issues also. When I replaced the cam bolts, the boots on both inner tie rods were torn and one the passenger outer tie rod was pretty floppy so maybe that was the problem and not the cam bolts. I replaced the boots, and both inner and outer tie rods at the same time so that could be why it drives much better.

The firestone guy said he couldn't get the SPC bolts torqued, but he must have been using a ridiculous torque because when I removed them I had to stand on the wrench to loosen them.

How much tighter is the turning radius?. That's my only complaint with my DC is turning radius. The sequoia is so much easier to park.

I can’t say for sure. There’s an intersection at the end of my street I u-turn in all the time. Normally I go as wide as I can and still come close or hop the last sidewalk corner. I did it today and it was a pretty easy clear all around. I did set up wide like normal but that last corner wasn’t even a chance of running into.

This is honestly what I was most hoping for out of that $1k spend.
My biggest complaint on the Tundra is turn radius.
I also pinged Billy @ BFF on front bumper as I'm wondering if the stock one might rub on the wheels with the solos...

I think it's time to for me drop $5k on the DC!

OME shocks, Jba UCA, Solo LCA (other stuff I don't need but really want)

350 is more than enough to embarrass enough people.

That should be a youtube channel. Just get some of us working on trucks and let Empty narrate it. He could do something like this.

Could be, but when I looked at the spc kit I had some doubts of it holding well. They do need to get He-Man mega tight, I noticed the tabs that they pass through bending slightly as I torqued them. I think the stupid plastic sleeves they use is the weak point, if they aren't cut to exact length it might be bad. I wish they spent a few more pennies on brass sleeves.

I've been embarrassing people with far less. 350 would be a lot of fun. I think thats plenty for a car that light.

2600lbs is the guess as of now. We’ll see what the total ends up being and how the distribution is. This engine typically leads to being closer to a 50/50 split

I think my GTI is about 2800lbs and runs roughly 220 horses, even with the really long gears it flies. Your car is gonna rip hard if you're in the 300 horse range. Just be careful with the snap oversteer.

Here’s a soon to be working fill station. I need to change up that outboard valve, it’s too proud.

Better start dieting now, @empty_lord, you don't want to add an extra percent or two to your MR2's weight :)

I really should have locked a turn and measured the diameter before swapping. The lack of stops and the turning radius weren’t really a concern of mine. But, muscle memory is funny. Today I cranked a turn for a back into a spot and the wheel kept turning after my brain said it would stop. It can’t be a huge difference but it’s there. I did notice on the Moogs I pulled off the stops were clean and some other part of the arm was the limiter.

My pavement princess haole FGT is excited about her new abilities waiting once the solo box is unpacked.

So, to summarize, your install was awesome and an alignment after was the only piece needed? So I should do the same?

No maaaaan don't be silly. Paint would clog it up faster. Black paint has a lot of good places to be but not in an air filter.

Yes. I still haven’t measured the height in the front, but it looks the same after alignment. Obviously I haven’t run it much, but it feels good.
