So Amazon blessed me with a fitting tonight I needed. So I can monitor you folks while I slowly assemble my thing. And, @FrenchToasty helped me with an order - tomorrow I'm going to have some more awesome stuff. But, I can't wait to wake up to install some LCAs. Thank god it's Saturday night.

Well then, fuck them. Buy through tirerack.com and you can set discount tire as the installer.

Cryptic is fun. I abandoned everything you told me on my 4 tire fill manifold. Except, those closed chucks. On the rest of the build to come, everything you told me has been gold. Well, it's all been gold, I just have a way of doing things. So, thank you, buddy.

Yup. Same with mine. Was sealed from Toyota when I received it. The correct part numbers were on the receipt and bags ... I ordered splash guards for 4 corners: Left front, left rear, right front, right rear. I got three rights and one left, two of my three rights were a duplicate. For me, it wasn't anything Serra did, maybe not the case for you, just sharing my experience.

The way I verified was pretty easy. Went to a couple of major sites, FleaBay, scAmazon, and Google Images to plug in the part number. When I clearly saw the part number on the bag and receipt were a different shape, and had a different pair of letters stamped into it, I knew it wasn't my f-up.

Anyway, what part number did you order?

Important thing to remember, I think: If the website format matches exactly the main Parts.Toyota.com site exactly, it's part of Toyota's eCommerce system, it' not the dealership's. Similar to VW's "ETKA" system, where the manufacturer leases/sells/loans their eCommerce platform to dealerships, but allows them to customize it a bit.

That's why you can go to Toyota South Atlanta's parts site, or either of Serra Toyota's Alabama dealerships and get the same experience, same website, 99.999% same graphics. Toyota controls the part fitment and compatibility info of the base system, if there's a mistake with compatibility, it's not in Serra's control.

This is not perfect, it's beautiful to me. I may change it slightly, if control arms go well, might install it tomorrow.

I should be clear, it wasn't mud flaps for me. This was the splash guards for the front wheel well. There's one in front of the tire and one behind the tire on each side. They're marked R and RR for the passenger side. L and LL for the driver side. The one with the double letter is the one that goes behind the tire.

If memory serves, what arrived to me was R, RR, RR, L. I don't need two RR though. They ordered another from Toyota, it arrived, yet again, had the LL part number on the factory sealed bag, but RR stamped part inside. Sounds like they had to contact Toyota to notify them someone screwed up on their end and they need to do a full inventory check. Meh.

Anyway, hopefully they'll get it taken care of sooner than later. I've got to reach out again on the 30th for a status update, trying to refrain from pinging more than once every 2wks. I'm sure they got hammered pretty hard with the 25% off sale.

Roger. I ordered some aftermarket ridiculously priced splash guards. I think they are in the bed right now. I will try to remember to hunt for them. B/c I think someone said for lifted trucks you want more coverage?

My thinking was, my kids and proximity to some sort of potty are a decent combo. Also nice to have the spigot nearby. I'm sure if my wife comes she will dislike my campsite selection. At least I'm a heavy sleeper so other people won't bother me at all, though hearing me snore while on your way to pee might be a little anti-social. I'll try to remember to sleep on my stomach :)

What are you thinking is the over / under on how much this camping trip will cost me in Tundra truck mods I will have to buy after seeing your rig? $5000? 10?
