This is twice in two days I've heard this.

I still don't know anyone who like geese. They're generally very unlikable creatures.

TV Yellow LP Special with P90s, the very bare bones rock machine. An interesting thing about these is that the finish is pretty random. Could be a solid color, could be a translucent stain, could be a muted faint yellow that looks more like natural wood, could be a strong mustard. The body itself could have a veneer, or not, and even could be one solid slab. It's a bit of a lottery apparently, but they are said to sound amazing. If you look for Google images of them you'll see some wild variations.

Not me by the way, and he does have some effects running to get this tone.


Also not me, but he played clean tones, and I avoided getting a black one because I don't like to play too fast

Ive never heard a good conspiracy, i didnt want to believe. Its gotta be better than fuel line magnets, but i could see where someone could electrolyze water and make something run off the hydrogen/oxygen mix.

 

Tin foil hats work better if you preforate em like expanded metal because faraday cages.

Imagine what i could charge by spray gluing metal window screen to truck tents.

Look into (but please not very far) microwaves, radio quiet/free zones, and targeted energy weapons. There's some kooky people out there that would love to have this.

What the hell, how'd you get it so cheap?! I thought they typically went for closer to $400-500. I have an early 2000s Epi LP Special II in black I picked up in what appears to be unused condition for $120, but pickups aren't P90s.

I just missed out on a P90-equipped metallic silver mint centerblock Gretsch 2622 Streamliner a couple weeks back WITH hard case for $300 and I'm still kicking myself. I tried get the seller to knock $20 off the shipping with a quick offer, knowing I should have just bought it ...they were one state over and $40 higher on ship than reality, but $120-180 under on price, it was just stupid all-around for me to even ask. Someone else snatched it up about an hour after my offer went out.

Here's a crap pic of that Encore MIJ. Nut got cracked in transit right at the valley for the E string, so there's a little work to be done with that and some freshening-up, but otherwise it's in super solid shape.

 

Why do you keep changing your name? Every time you do it, it takes me a week to figure out who you are.

Ahh, you're thinking of the other Special, I think that is the "Special ii". The one that sells for $450 has 2 tone knobs and 2 volume knobs and a set neck. The lower model I ordered is the "Special i" and has a bolt on neck and single tone/volume pots. The neck is a bit controversial but plenty of great guitars have bolt on (every Fender I think). Rumor around the Epi forum is the cheap version actually sounds better. I just really want a solid body with P90s and no way I'm paying for a 56 les.

Bummer on the Gretsch, the more I look at them the more I'm intrigued. I really like hollow and semi hollow bodies now. They're just more versatile. Gretsch makes particularly gorgeous stuff too.

That MIJ looks sweet! A new nut is an easy fix.
