    You sure are welcome!

    Glad to help.

Honestly, I'm just learning all the things. So I'm no help. Just calm down, a little and post a little less... frantic-like.

Not saying I was a fixture around here or anything but if anyone has been wondering where I’ve been, I’ve been out in nature trying to get back into an old hobby that involves slightly less drinking.

Funny, I’ve puked more on this thing in the last month than I have in 10 years of brewing.

Read this this morning & liked it. I work with a bunch of early/mid 20's men & women. I was thinking they'd never consider the health of their employment. So I was pleased with @empty_lord 's post.
Then today - they left work after two hours to attend a protest! Which resulted in the local interstate shutting down in both directions as the protestors walked on the highway & sat down. Really?

Good work Dan! Someone raised you right.

Sorry didn’t mean it as a haha. Was just saying it can’t get any better and can only get worse but hopefully it stays at just the startup or hopefully you have a really dirty PCV valve or something.

V6? There’s not many issues. Just check for leaks, or rust...

That's a sweet bike! I've been riding my road bike just about daily, minimum 8 miles which doesn't sound like much but I live near hills.

    Good hobby to have

It was the 2.7 I think but he was being shady and I guess sold it when my friend asked why multiple people had it listed on offerup. Oh well.

He really wants a tacoma after his Comanche broke, any years he should look at? And how much is too many miles for those?

I need help again, I cant decide again between 6112 and toytec ultimate coilovers. I was only going to run 1.7-2 inch of lift up front so the 6112 sounded good but the toytecs are just alittle more with more adjustability. what should I do :help:

Is he just looking at the smaller tacomas? If not a tundra might suit him. Maybe a rclb or something?

On my way to seek revenge on Señor Chihuahua yesterday, I got behind a large middle aged man riding his bike like yours through the neighborhood. Looked like maybe he figured the extra 50lbs gained over the recent years needed to be lost.

Anyways, it was one of those situations where I was trying to pass him in the Tundra as he was riding the curb. He then swerved over in front of me without using Hand Signal Jives like lots of the Cool Bicycle Guys in their tight Spandex do.

Hey guys quick thought. My tundra only has 134k miles, which is pretty low. Looks like my valve stem seals are going bad. I own a 01 camry as well and drive that to work, so i dont drive the tundra very much at all. I'm starting to think thats a bad thing since its a 20 year old truck. Should i start daily driving this thing to keep all the rubber seals and such in good working order? Or drive it like 4 days out of the week? I like not driving it so i can keep wear and tear off of it but now i think i could be doing more harm then good.

Probably the worst thing that can happen to an engine is to sit unused for long periods of time.

How much off roading do you plan on doing? How serious of trails, high speed through sand, or rock crawling? The external reservoir of the 6112 helps with fade, but if you're not blasting across rough surfaces then it's probably overkill.

I can't compare those two directly, but I can compare the toytec and OME. Toytec is softer valving so little bit of a smoother ride, I actually liked the firmer ride of the OME since it helped with body sway on the freeway. I ended up switching because I got a crazy amount of lift from the OME and didn't want to mess with changing coils and hoping it was enough of a difference. Toytec is nice to get the ride height dialed, but it's really a one time thing.

Also if you go toytec, get the aluma instead of ultimate since the aluma are rebuildable.

I drive a work truck every day, so Ironman only see action on the weekend. Sometimes I skip a weekend so its 2 weeks. Even then its 50 miles at the most. Been like that going on 2 years now.

    2 quick questions:

Can you use the CVJ moderate lift axles w/o a lift?

How hard is it to remove the bed? 6 bolts, filler cap, and brake light harness?

4 buddies, 8bolts (long bed, 6 your bed) the filler neck and the harnesses under the bed at the end. Real easy and it’s only ~400 lbs

I’ve used an engine hoist and it works great, you just need a second person to make sure you don’t damage anything

I think it should be ok. Aren't you planning to replace the coilovers anyways? They do have a "no lift" version as well.

Yeah. I'm just laying out all my options in case I can't do the coilovers yet. I'm holding onto the money for a little bit, but axles need to be done quick.
