Not sure if later model Tundras have 6.5' beds? I contacted the guy about the exact length and width, and explained why it matters (likely my mistake). All I got back was a "thanks boss" :D So clearly he wasn't interested in advice. He never did update the post with the width either. Really nice looking, for a good price. Leer lists the 1st gen as a 6.5' bed. Hence the model "TUN65"

Apparently the 3rd gens may also, given the DECKED system for the latest gen will fit the 1st gen access cab trucks.

3rd gens have 6.5' beds in the DC and available as an option for the crewmax.

Blasphemy! The AC is the pinnacle! The 2nd Gen DC is a sad, desperate attempt at a sophomore follow up that is destined to fail. Easily seen through as reaching, trying too hard.

$300, newer Leer in green, needs some cleaning, struts, brake light, clearcoat is failing, and I'm sure the rails probably need a re-seal but ... $300!

Done some searching, and there are quite a few "how to replace a rear topper window" videos out there, but none for my type of window.

I felt fortunate that I've got the full frame. Easy to cut a piece of plexiglass and attach. But I don't know how to get the adhesive, with all the shattered glass, off the frame. I tried a heat gun and putty knife and that got me exactly nowhere.

    Any ideas?

This is a killer AC truck deal just south of Montgomery AL. Snugtop with sleek windoors, only $720. Looks to be in superb condition. Wish I could remember who the member was in Mississippi or Louisiana who was hunting for one.

Looks like I just needed to think more. Heat wouldn't hurt, but would be very slow going. Brute force with better tools is what I needed. A sharper putty knife + mallet is doing the rough work of getting the glass and the bulk of the adhesive off. Will find more precise tools for the final cleanup work.

Putty knife is your issue. You should be using a snap-blade knife IMO

Done. Will likely do some light scraping or sanding just to make sure I've got a fairly level surface, then I'll be ready for plexiglass.

I considered that, and it would have worked. The sharp putty knife and mallet worked really well though, without requiring constant pressure. Just light hammering. Probably a few ways to get it done. This way worked. I was afraid harsh chemicals were going to be the answer...luckily not.

Good looking Leer at a decent left coast price. Says it's for an extra cab:confused: Tundra. Doesn't list is it still has the cab window. has a boot.
