It about half a foot shorter bed than ours.

 

Half a foot? It should only be an inch shouldn't it? Just looked it up and an access cab Tacoma bed is 73.5", and a double cab 1st Gen bed is 74.4". I guess the issue would be the width though, as the Tacoma bed measured from the outside of the bedsides is about 4.5" narrower than the inside dimension of the Tundra. It looks mostly flush on the sides of the Tacoma so it's probably too narrow to fit.

 

I'm almost certain Tacomas only have 6ft beds and we have 6.5 foot beds.

 

Looking for a DC carpet lined camper shell around GA if anyone has one or finds one. Preferably Timberland Mica, but I’ll color match anything.

Yes. Only 2" inches separate AC and DC. I know there are guys on here with DC tops on AC and visa versa

AC Topper on the left coast. Dudeman says it could use paint, he has all glass, a working key and will even install it for free for $1285. What a nice guy ;-)

 

These both appear to be the Thunder Grey Metallic. I would have jumped on the TN one with the rack already installed.

 

We have a 6 foot 2 inch bed

 

Just for fun I measured my dad's 07 ac taco and my 06 AC tundra beds from over the front to over the tailgate.
Taco 76.75"
Tundra 78.25"
Much closer than I thought it would be.

 

My 06 double cab is about 76.5 over the front to over the tailgate if i subtract for the bed liner/cap things

 

I think the width is going be be like 3 inches off though
