Very rare and unique Wildernest camper shell for sale. He's also parting out the truck including Fox coilovers. I feel bad for him. Screenshot_20240411-205837.png

My POA is starting to piss me off. How about a 1gt junkyard in rust resistant tx?

There's one similar to that over this way, same rough shape, they want $500 for it. I refuse to link it here, it should be $300 max.

$450 for an ARE with windoors is a steal. I see the bent frame at the top of that one side, but it all looks goood.

I suppose I'm hung up on the spray paint job but I suppose to the right person that could make it "universal" colored. I forget about the big value of windoors I've never used them.

I know FGV (for example) has a DC cap on his AC, so maybe... It's like 2 inches longer. I don't anyone who wouldn't be good with 2 more inches :p

Shorter. DC is shorter. It's just short enough it doesn't cover the cab-side rail completely, I think. He can say better than anyone. I dunno if he's ever showed pics of it.

Sorry, I was implying that the AC cap is longer and would be 2inches longer on his DC truck. I see the confusion. Don't want to mislead anyone.

Windoors make such a big difference. I was loading up for our Arkansas trip last week and it always reminds me how thankful I am to have those.
Honestly I can't tell any difference with the length. Short or long. In that regard it's fine. The biggest issue is the gap along the front frame rail. You cannot actually see the gap but it creates that space that's hard to seal from water. Only way to know it's there is to stick your hand up there.

Couple shots. It doesn't hang off the back or look too short to me.

I'd love to have a single windoor if for no other reason than to be able to more-easily air things out. My garage space is so tight, I can't even prop the rear door more than3-4" at night. It'd be so nice to be able to just plop open a side window and be done with it. I still need to make the trek up to the cap place in Marietta to see what they want to refinish, then decide if I'm going to go with that, or just pop out the windows and Rhino liner it white.

I do like windoors for that use. Especially on the 8’ shell.

I really want to have a removable or fixed front sliding window. That would make the shell awesome. Then do the seal replacement.

That'd be awesome for a salsa red pearly 2WD lowrider. There's one w/o windows within 100mi of ATL right now I saw, I think it's grey/primer. They're pretty unusual to find. I remember bitd wheneveryone would unibody their trucks with a cap so you could cruise topless like a Bronco/Blazer.

That's not bad deal for an AC shell, knowing you'll be dropping ~$350 on the rear window replacement.
