Ah yes. A fellow Melinda’s lover. These two are my staples; I’m less on the white bottle, but the black XXXX bottle is my jam. Good flavor, with a little spice.

Well I had to return my snug top hiliner….we got some rain and the entire bed of the truck was soaked. It was leaking like a civ from every single window and through the carpet like it was soaking through a crack or something. Being that I paid $1700 for this from a dealership, I felt this was unacceptable, but luckily, they agreed and refunded me. That said I'll be on the lookout for another white mid/high roof shell if anyone finds one!

You bought new at a shell dealer, and it had that many issues? Or was it a refurb? We can’t get SnugTops brand new out this way that cheap.

it was used and refurbished but basically all they had done was repaint it from what I can tell. For 1700 it shouldn’t have had all the issues it did. These were just as the rain started it got so much worse.

Oh, totally understand, heck, I'm pissed that adding bed lights seems to have made my '16 even less waterproof than before so now I get water in there too. Sure would be nice to have things fully weatherproof but it takes some work to address each spot.

I think my Tundra shell has a crack in it too, just noticed that yesterday.

I mean, if you have sliders it’ll never be totally waterproof. I blasted the hell out of my sliders to clean them. Definitely got some water in the cab because I was spraying the channels. But I don’t think it should be that much, and I haven’t seen any in the cab during rain events.

I’m just crushing hard on the truck, I’d loooove to have it. But posting because the camper is pretty cool looking.

I like the idea of the Wildernest/Flip-pak/Wedge style campers, but in practice the flapping of the canvas in the wind would really kick the 'tism into overdrive. It's windy AF everywhere I go.

GFC’s are 8k ish? Superpacific is the same ballpark. Nice kit. But spendy. For that the RSI bed replacement starts to look good.

I was the original product tester for this and had it on my tacoma for nearly two years before it came out. It's a great product and I would definitely run another one if they made a higher roof version. I may just talk them into making a taller one ;)

If it was t so spendy it’d be hard for me to ignore. Seems like a pretty solid solution.

Eh. Then you have to lug a trailer around which is kind of a pain. I'd prefer this option but it's too pricey for me.

Finding a hard topper is ideal for me now. But in the future, when the 35's are in play and the bed is bobbed, a small trailer is the plan.
