I did too, until I read somewhere that I was a total piece of shit. And I know 100% that's not true, because clearly I'm a dumpster fire.

@jpink I'm looking at you again. Black DC camper, big window (but wings, not sliders), appears to be a Leer, $550 over in Chatt. Carpeted, sliding, potentially foldout cab-side window.

Inside looks a little mildewy, but definitely roomy. If it didn't have the sloping top I'd drive up and look at it. I need a flat top one so I can fit kayaks on top. red_topper1.png .

Do t100's share bed dimensions? Or just close enough?

Whereabouts are you, generally speaking? N. AL, N. GA, S. TN, SC? You're probably seeing a lot of what I already see (Atlanta + 100 miles) but I can keep eyes peeled if it'll help.

According to mr. rusty nuts, back on page 2 or 3, no, they don't share bed lengths.

Seller may not know what they're talking about. That cap would be too long for a DC, looks about right for an AC, and I don't see how it'd fit on a T100.

Appreciate it! I'm actually in Southern Mississippi, but travel across the Gulf to Central FL a lot, and sometimes up through N. AL and S. TN. I've been looking all over the SE region simply because if the topper looks like a good deal I could make a camping trip out of the drive.

Black Mamba said he measured one back on page three...looks like it would be a bit too long for an AC. I've heard a lot of people say that the 95+ T100s will fit the AC (the 93 T100s were all 8' beds), but I don't know anybody who's actually fitted one to a Tundra.

Well damn. I just saw something in MS on FBM yesterday, maybe day before. Was for an AC too. But I can't remember if it was a truck for sale with the cap, or just the cap.

So in my ignorance, I didn't catch the particular brand that I looked at. I know that shifty's leer with the flared edges measures longer than say bee's which is not flared. Could be that a brand without the flares "could" work...

So I can't edit my post to add a pic. I see in Casey's pic that the shell seems to protrude past the bed rail an inch or so.

Damn I must've missed that. I check FBM like an addict but maybe it was posted and sold really fast. There was a double cab with a camper for sale a few days ago, but it sold super fast.

    Interesting...didn't even think of that.

Im going to build a tray based off of the MITS or Norweld offerings. Part of my motivation to get a FGT in the first place.

I plan on doing a long toolbox down each side to fill in the fender clearance notch. One side will be the new kitchen location, and the other side will be tools/spare parts etc.

Yeah I do like that shape. But white is easy to paint black.

That one on the post you commented about is for an F150 or other. This stubby hook is the dead giveaway. The same Leer cap for Tundra has a point in that spot. It's snubbed at the end for the F150.

But with you mentioning having paint, I assume you meant the Snugtop. I approve also!

And that snub nose is specifically that way to fit into this groove (clearly this Leer shell is not for this year/cab F150, but several years of F150 have this little jut in that spot):
