I'll cast a vote for access cab, and not just because its what I have. I've never been a fan of double cabs on any make of truck. Its just not my cup of tea, and I don't have extra people to haul around. As for access vs. regular, I like the additional space of an access cab for hauling groceries and such.

    I've had both AC & DC's . . . . currently in a DC.
I miss the turning radius of the AC for sure.
The DC rides way better on the street / highway, and tows more comfortably as well.
The rear suicide doors on the AC were a pain in the ass in parking lots. The backseat was a waste of space.
The bed on the DC is deeper from the bed rail to bed, so with a shell on there is significantly more room.
Rear sliding window on the DC is money.
Both are killer, pick your poison I guess.
