If anyone can help, as a newb here, I’m not sure how to respond to individual posts. Any advice would be great. Until then, thank all of you for your responses. I love looking at all of your trucks. Though to be fair, my little brownie will probably never be “pimped out”. I would love to get another one as a toy to do with as I please, but I’m married, so there’s that.

You’re right. Mine has less than 120,000, and is barely getting broken in!

Very nice! I used to have a 93 with the V6 and 5sp manual. Wish I never got rid of that truck!

Like I did here: first you push the "Quote" link on the bottom right.
    IMG_5833.PNG.jpg
You'll get thrown down to the bottom of whatever page of the thread you're on, and you'll see the other member's quote.

Position the cursor anywhere after the [/QUOTE] and write your response.

If you want to add in pictures from your phone or computer, select "Upload a File" which will kick you over to files in whatever device you're using. (1.) Select and upload.

    IMG_5834.PNG.jpg
When you see this, make sure your cursor is where you want the pic to be, and (2.) select "Full Image" (ain't nobody got time for thumbnails. :angrygirl:

Also, I've got a 1988 with 103,000 miles. But it's not nearly as nice as your truck. Glad you shared!

Vintage! I like it. I had a red one, same year and it was awesome! I’ll drum a picture. It was a MN truck and suffered from a fair amount of panel rust.

    I have had a few 84-88' 4runners and P/U trucks.

This is my favorite that I still own: 86' "400Runner" Beast

    Best body style imo.

Are you running a TH350 in that or the stock 5-spd.? If you are still running the original trans, how's it holding up?

Did you mix up the years on your 4Runners? The white one has an '87, '88, '89 grille. The gray one has an '84, '85, '86 grille. :notsure:

I'm happy this one has the 4cly. My 91 4Runner had the 3.0L and it was the least reliable vehicle I've ever owned. The 3.0 has to be one of Toyota's worst designs ever. My poor dad spent a fortune to get mine running and we eventually gave up.
