New member here. I’m looking at a Super White ‘19 TRD Pro Tundra with about the same MSRP, right around $53K. Applying the 11.2% member suggested discount works out to $5,936 off sticker, a tad above $47k. I wish the current $3k Tundra rebate applied to Pro models.

I heard 2020 Tundras will be hitting dealers soon. Debating whether the $2,885 price increase is worth pushbutton start, more standard safety features, Apple CarPlay with a larger LCD display, etc.

    Looking at a 2019 Tundra with the TRD Off-Road package;

    -2019 Toyota Tundra Limited 5.7L V8 Truck CrewMax 4WD
    -MSRP is $50,737

I am thinking about offering the dealership $40,737 with the $3k rebate included. Would love to hear opinions considering the current market conditions.

May be a good place to start but you can also ask for it free too (just joking).
Start where you want but best is likely 11.8% off plus rebate. This would be $5,987 plus rebate of $3,000 for total discount of $8,987.
Some guys say they are getting 9k off or more but they are likely demos with miles, odd-ball trucks on the lots for 6 months, white trucks or are MSRP'd in the mid 50's.

Thanks Bear. I plan on going in to the dealership on the last day of the month in August/September when dealerships are hungry to make their monthly sales quota.

I am totally addicted to Tundra Life now!
July 17th Paid 48K (Sticker price was $56,578)For a 2019 Super White 1794 4x4 Loaded down with all the bell n whistles and Tow PKG.. They had a $1,000 Dealer fee so I nailed them for OEM Pocket Fender flares $800 , a TRD True Dual Exhaust System $1,150 and TRD 4x4 OffRoad Decals !! I am a ferocious negotiator...lol Then Paid Cash . Then walked into the parts department and bought all TRD everything else for underneath the truck. Came home bought 35x20's, 20'inch Fuel Kranks, called JTs and got two 5.29 Nitro Gears and install kits, Alarm, Remote start, Vehicle GPS Tracking System with tons of amazing features, Bull Bar, Light Bar, Ready lift 4Inch, Tri Fold bed cover, spray in Rhino Liner and Much more. Did 80% all my own work and this thing is STUNNING and ate up the NC Mountains like nothing!
I bought a 2017 Blazing Blue Pearl SR5 TSS 4x4 Loaded down with Leather and Rolling Lock , spray in bed liner the very next week! Paid $32,780 With 21,000 miles and Toyota Certified Wrap Extended Warranty until 2026! Yep I'm fkn addicted to Tundras now. Customizing it all this week exactly like the 2019 above.....Hold My Cuban Coffee

$9000 off was for a new, 2019, zero-mile (well 3 or 4 mile) truck--definitely not a demo and definitely not an odd ball sitting on the lot for months truck. Your choice of model and color. I almost pulled the trigger on a double cab cavalry blue limited that they worked a trade with an Oregon Toyota dealer for me. MSRP was 46K and change and I was looking at 37K and change plus tax and license. I had multiple dealers to work with. I could have gone Platinum and any color as well.

Hopefully When I do buy next year I didn't miss the boat and they are offering screaming deals then too. Until then I will be making good use of my 2000 Tundra that I'm getting it partially fixed after it was totaled (drunk driver hit it while parked rear end and frame damage), then passing it down to my son..

That 2000 Tundra was the perfect size for me and uber reliable. Only routine scheduled maintenance since I bought it new.

Update: Just got another email from that dealer, $8029 off MSRP (2019’s) without negotiating --to the general public. If I called the person I was working with before I'd bet they give me at least the $9000 off deal.

The first 2 are all that really matter for price comparisons. The other stuff varies by state.

Also asking... is the TRD package really worth the extra $2790? I’m working a deal right now and it seems book wise (kbb) it doesn’t make much difference... trying to decide between a sr5 with upgrade and the trd... hard finding a silver one!!!

Get the TRD. Dont get a bare bones SR5. SR5 TRD is good too. My SR5 DC was my first and I went nuts putting all TRD on it. Made a whole world of difference across the board. The problem value wise is it's still only an SR5. Just my 2 cents. Keep the negotiation fight on your side!

Yeah....trd is at 37k otd ... sr5 with upgrade and convenience is 35 otd, sr5 sx is 35otd....good prices...but still a lot of cash and not my favorite color...trying to decide if it’s worth it... trd does have LED lights, 38 gallon tank, etc...

It may not be the value up-front but it helps a ton with depreciation.
The best value leases have the Off-Road or the Sport packages included, it's what consumers want and makes reselling or trading in that much easier.

$5k off a new Pro is amazing. After shopping for a ‘19 Pro the best I could find is MSRP (SoCal area)

Why not take the 0% finance? Aren't you paying more in the end based on the interest rate being prob 3-5%?

Well I finally got a '19 Midnight Black Metallic TRD PRO!

As described in my previous post asking to get a baseline on what they are actually going out the door for. I always get anxiety just dealing with car dealerships even though I have purchased over 50 cars (mostly vintage cars) but still my hair stands up on the back of my neck. I walked out of two dealerships this week that were obnoxious and in my view didn't even know their products all the while emailing dealers that had them in stock in the color I wanted (all three colors look great).

I found this one locally at a dealer and had a very positive experience and brought it home this morning. I traded a '16 4Runner TRD PRO w/ low miles and super clean. The Tundra had three options - Door edge guards, spray on bedliner & tube steps. MSRP $52,599.00. Paid $49,000. I think the low mileage 4Runner was a motivating factor for the dealer. I would loved to have gotten it for $48,000 but I am completely satisfied with the purchase.

Man these trucks are nice. There is NO comparison with the 4Runner in terms of horse power and ride quality.

Thanks all for the information found in this thread! Pic's to come.

    Cheers,
    Bill

A $3,599 discount off a Pro is a great deal. You did well!!! Dealers won’t discount Pro models in my area.

The dealership screwed me over twice. First time he misquoted me 7k on my trade.

2nd time I was on the phone doing a credit app with internet sales and the rep said he got paged and needed to go, then literally hung up on me. It happened to be a recorded and monitored call for customer service. About two minutes later I got a call from the manager apologizing profusely so he offered 1500 back of invoice. I gladly accepted.

That's a great price. I was looking at the Platinum's as well when searching. I couldn't get a deal like that. Beautiful trucks.
