    Hey Tundra community.

I've had my tundra since 2011 and bought it with 60k miles on it. Since then its towed and hauled anything I needed. For the most part I never needed a diesel. I don't tow often but I did noticed It can almost keep up with a heavy load (11k gooseneck oops)and going up hills. I've had 3 different setups of shocks-stock, 5100s, and 6112s with rear trd pro shocks. I've had air bags and to tell you the truth I liked the load leveling if you tow heavy often I would say get them but man they beat the crap out of you and limit travel. So anyways my truck is just freshly supercharged with magnuson and bully dog. Will try to track down DAP in the near future for now it's going to have to do.

    Mods
    6112 front
    TRD pro rear
    Hellwig sway bar
    18x9 moto metal wheels
    Nitto EXOs 35x12.5x18
    Magnum RT bumpers
    Rock sliders
    Stinger sound deadener
    Massive audio shallow subs
    JBL 6.5 components
    Rockford 4x500
    Magnaflow exhaust
    Magnuson supercharger

    That's it for my intro.20180621_125000.jpg

With that many miles, check for blow-by. Might be worth investing in an oil catch can setup too, just to make sure you aren’t pushing more oil into the intake manifold.

Otherwise, hell of a first post!

Thanks guys and yeah I just finished the install. I will look into an oil catch can. I did the install in my driveway. Got to say with that many miles the area around the injectors was pretty nasty. The easiest thing was the fuel tank. I was dreading it but man simple as rotating the tires.

Interesting... 167k on my '08 and I tow some heavy loads occasionally. I'll have to watch how well your's holds up to the higher mileage SC upgrade and hope that the universe approves.
    :fingerscrossed:

I was thinking (maybe dreaming is the more accurate word) of finding a low mileage donor to put better rods and pistons in with the Harrop SC kit.

Looks like you've dropped some money into yours. Why no regear?

Well hadn't really found the time to regear, plus i was stuck between 4.88 and an lsd or a locker and 4.88s....hard choice... that might be next. Worst thing i found so far was valve cover seals are slowly leaking into the plugs but man the valve covers aren't leaking anywhere else I'll do them probably around 200k.

Wow Congrats! I put my TRD Supercharger on at 30k and that was a fresh motor. I think the Magnuson puts out a pound or two more PSI over the range. Will need to keep the motor in tip top shape (fluids/ gas). It should live. However a low milage 5.7 can be found pretty easily.

I need to stay away from this thread........too much om nom! How many psi is a pound or two over? I know with the fresh rebuild on my cat I should be in the 65-70 psi range. But this is onions and rhubarb.

Digging up an old thread. How is your engine holding up to the supercharger? I've been thinking about installing one on my Tundra with 145K miles.
I was wondering if I was nuts and found this thread Lol.
My motor runs like it was brand new and I've always changed the oil every 5k miles since new.. thank for any feedback

Installed my supercharger at 214k, crossed 294k yesterday and running like a champ. And I don't remotely baby it, it sees full throttle a couple times per drive usually :D and is tweaked beyond what a stock supercharger puts out. Stock engine otherwise though.

It would be interesting to follow how long an SC'd Tundra lasts without needing some significant repairs, compared to a stock Tundra.
