I did actually. There's 3 large inserts that would require your to cut large slots in your hood. 2 that flank the L&R and one in the front. I deleted those. Been installed for 6 mo. now no issues..

You trolling me or did you not read the first couple words in my OP? C'mon Ofc., you're makin us look bad...... ;) But No it's not. And I don't intend to.

@Devildawg712 did you leave the seals on the outside? They are supposed to go to the inside and not show. 3AB78B3C-FFD6-4362-866A-0CF74CA5A36E.jpg

Really? woops. :frusty: Well its been nearly a year and it hasnt bothered me. Thanks for letting me know. I'll correct it when I removee the entire scoop andn paint the black portion gloss. It's starting to look a little weathered from the Cali sun and plastic restorer only lasts a week or so.

I saw in Roman's part thread you can't order these painted. Did you have a body shop paint to match for you and what was the cost on that? Trying to price everything out, but not sure how much that part would run.

    Don't do it.
Why would someone add a hood scoop to a truck that already has a hood scoop? Are two hood scoops better than one? (No, they are decorative anyway).
Reminds me of a dumb mistake I made in high school (1984), I put side-pipes on a 76 Cutlass and it already had dual-exhaust. I was so proud to take it to shop class for an oil change and the teacher said "how many exhaust systems does this thing have"? I felt two inches, won't make that mistake again.

Add a light bar to the larger "Hood scoop" portion and you're back in business!
