I searched over on Tundratalk with a little luck, but not much in the way of DC price check's. Most are CM's.

I've found a wide discrepancy in prices locally vs. online elsewhere on the truck I'm looking for. Locally, they want close to MSRP. Truecar puts this truck at around $35,500K average price paid. I've found two online listed at $34,500.

Then I read about those landing deals in the $33's and $32's (albeit these were old threads with '12 and '13 model years).

I would like to land a deal that is $34k OTD, but I'm afraid I'm being a bit unrealistic.

    Thoughts?

I paid $38k when I had my 2012 (new) TRD DC.

Not a DC or TRD but I paid $35K OTD for my 2015 SR5 CrewMax. The TRD was around $3K more. Opted not to get it knowing eventually I would change wheels and tires and suspension.

Wow, then I have some room to negotiate on a few of these (if I'm not looking for the TRD package).

I got a hell of a deal. Sticker was $41xxx. Dealer knew I was only going to buy if I got a deal. Happy as can be with the truck!

Yeah, you paid $4K less than what most dealers want for a DC around here. I would say you did well. I'm pretty sure I will unfortunately have to make a drive for this next truck. The crazy thing is they sell them like crazy around here. People must just be willing to pay premiums, or there is a lot of room for negotiation. However, when we were shopping for my wife's 4runner back in 2012, they wouldn't deal at all.

I suppose $35k +TTL for a TRD/SR5 Upgrade DC isn't terrible. I was just hoping I could go down to $34K+TTL. No one has budged yet.
