14-16 Custom Modified Front Bumper $ 125.00 ---SOLD---

I have an OEM front bumper from my 2015 4x4 CM. I have modified the end caps for greater tire and ground clearance. The end caps were welded up by a custom hot-rod body shop here in San Diego. Everything in the photo is included with the bumper ( less the truck ). The front plastic was also cut up for more ground clearance. I made a custom aluminum skid for more clearance, but that does not convey with the bumper. It has been a while, and cant remember if the factory sheetmetal skid will work. I do some sand dune running and had some problems hitting my front end, so I modified the factory bumper, then went on to build my own pre-runner bumper. You will need to trim some of the inner plastic fender to blend in, but that's what being creative is all about. The end caps need to be finished off with re-chrome or color match to your truck. The photos are not the greatest, as I through the bumper back on for the ad pics. This is a one-of-a-kind bumper that needs to be finished off and installed. Local p-up in San Diego,CA only. $500. Thanks for the reply. Anything one of a kind can look simple on the outside, but has a lot more work not seen. Believe it or not there are a lot of man hours into this mod. Everything behind the face of the bumper has been trimmed in one way or another. The welding and grinding on the end caps alone is very extensive. I appreciate any and all comments and am willing to be open to any offers on the customized bumper. I have had it sitting around for over 6 months and want it gone. I have the OEM skid plate that you can have to. I just joined the forum last night and really enjoy all the stories, pics and articles. Thanks much............

Any thoughts on the value of this thing or is it simply the fact I am on the West coast and have local pick-up only ? Just open for any thoughts. I live in a condo with a small garage and have this stored at mt work. Boss kinda wants it gone. Hate to have it tossed in the dumpster. Any offers ? Thanks much...............

im interested what actually has to be done to the bumper? I see you mentioned it need to be finished off and installed is it end caps only or the whole bumper?

It is the whole bumper. Everything shown in the lower picture of the original post. All the pieces behind the facia have been trimmed in one way or another and the end caps will not bolt directly to an oem structure without the mods I have done. The bumper will bolt directly to your frame, no mo The finishing off part will be the re-chrome or paint, some mods to your lower inner fender (plastic) pieces, and possible custom skid plate. The picture shows just a gray primer sprayed on the bare metal and welds. Just so you know, I paid $500 for the welding and fab work to the end caps. Yahhhhhh........ we have all been down the road of blowing some money, then changing are mind 6 months down the road. Let me know...............Thanks

Thanks John/sixpack. I had the bumper on just a short while and had some great compliments. I went another route and built prerunner bumpers front and rear, but think someone with a little time to finish this bumper off will have a great end product and one-of-a-kind. Thanks for the comments.
