Only the driver door should unlock all other doors should remain locked. unless you use your remote to lock or unlock. Yours doesn't do that?

According to 12volt solutions youtube installation tutorial all doors including driver should lock few seconds after remotely starting the truck

Switch that prevents the remote start from being activated if the hood is open. Or at least that's what I recall.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
I think you may be referring to the kit/ box from 12Volt Solutions that comes with a custom sticker... 12Volt Solutions is a different group.

James at Tech12Volts, is who this GB is with.

FWIW, I wanted to add for the group here:
As others have commented, James' customer service is top notch, and he cares about his customers! If you have questions, email him.

Hope that wire nut is temporary. Makes me cringe whenever I see those used in automotive applications.

I read somewhere the motor runs for only 15 mins then shuts off. Is that true and is there a way to make it run longer? 15 minutes in a WV winter isn't long enough to heat up my truck.

I'm in KY and work in WV and as mild as the past couple winters have been here, it'll be a miracle if we need it more than a few times.

Glad I saw this group buy post. I was about to drop $500+ elsewhere.

I have a Compustar autostart on my wife's Subaru and it runs for 15-minutes before shutting off as well. That is plenty of time to warm up the vehicle here in Alaska before getting in to head to work. The kicker is we installed a block and battery heater that we plug in when temps reach single digits.

Here’s the one wire that needs to be spliced on the 2014-2017 trucks. Didn’t see it posted in here. Should make it easier for everyone

First page James said 1 wire had to be spliced. Couldn’t find anywhere on here what wire it was so I looked it up and found this wire.

My truck would start and power right off and would no longer beep if I had this wire disconnected. Also redid programming sequence once I connected the wire.

no cutting on 17 and under. Just 18+. I know because I got his kit last year and installed on my 16. Just rechecked first post, no cutting. Old internet instruction out there you still had to cut, but new harness last year.

You get the THAR-TOY2 and the THAR-TY50 harnesses with his kit for a 2016, that's what's in my shipment that I received, along with the EVO-One module. I had previously inquired if this included the TOY7 harness, and was told that it did. The THAR-ONE-TOY7 kit are the latest version of the harnesses from Fortin and includes these two part numbers. James states this is 100% plug-n-play.
