I have only driven a few miles on them with whatever the tire shop set them at, where I mounted them I didn't have an air compressor or a psi gauge, so I'm not sure what they are at.

I plan to set the psi around 50 today unless I learn otherwise sooner.

I will drive it a bit tomorrow, but not enough to reach any accurate conclusions. Once it warms up I plan to do the chalk test and experiment a bit.

I will let you know how things shake out.

285/65r18 K02's here. I'm running them at 48 psi which seems to work pretty well.

Same here BFG said 50 but I almost lost a tooth filling so I usually stick around 48 when I tow the camper. This time of the year I drop em down to about 44 cuz of the snow.

I have 40 PSI in them and drove about 50 miles on the TP today. A little stiffer than the 35 PSI I had in of course (which with the cold temps probably was running 32 or 33 PSI), but about 1 MPG better on gas mileage.

I haven't checked the PSI since I first put them on, I need to see if they have dropped any. This is a good reminder, thank you.
It certainly isn't as plush as 35 or 40 but I am used it to by now.

What PSI have you been running?

Just checked the other day after my new suspension. 48. Last I checked when it was colder it was 43, so the warmer temps certainly expands it

Is 1mpg worth $1000+ tires wearing more quickly? Don't see the ROI

Did you do the chalk test?

I am not following. My point wasn’t about economics, it was just commenting on ride characteristics following the change in PSI. And I dont see any depreciating asset as an investment; it’s essentially a toy, hobby and a mode of transport for me. In any event the tire shop had 35 in at install. BFG recommends 50. I am running 45 (which varies from 42 - 48 depending on temps) based off BFG recommendation, because, in essence, I trust them more than my shop who only had 35 in them.
Edit: the 45 is a compromise for me based off BFG recommendation because 50 was too harsh and knocked my teeth out.

If you call/contact BFGoodrich direct they recommend 55 psi for those specific tires on our trucks.

I am running 50 because I want them to wear properly. You get a nicer ride with 35-40 but I'm hoping/assuming the tire company is giving accurate information. If I notice premature center wear I will definitely drop the psi. I don't have enough miles on them yet to notice much wear.

If MPG's were that important to me I never would have bought this truck, haha.

I need to do the chalk test. When I bought the tires it was way too cold and lately I have been very busy I haven't gotten around to it.

Apologies, yes, it's 55 PSI recommended. My bad.

I have 38psi front and rear in my load range D Generals on my first gen. Shoot the tire manufacturer an email. Give them year, make, model, original tire size and GVW and new tire size. An engineer should be able to tell you. That's the route I took when I bought my tires

On the Falken website there is an inflation chart for different sizes. The main thing I got from it is that it provides load capacity for different tire pressures. I know it’s not the same tire, but you could probably look and have a decent idea of where your tires fall.

Does the change in tire pressures mess with the tpms?

    I have LT 275 65 20 tires and 80psi max psi. I have 5100 on top setting and 65psi
Is recommended but the ride is rough. I have 58 front 60 rear nice ride now.
Lower psi on 10 ply E LT tires like below 45 the tire will heat up and the bead can break .

Been running 38 front 36 rear on 10 ply tires for a while. The Tundra has even wear on the tires. My Tacoma has 70,000 miles on the E rated with the similar results.

I ran my KO2's at 40 PSI, because I'm pretty sure that is what Discount Tire recommended. I drive mostly city and highway.

I put just over 60K miles on those tires and I could've gone a little longer.

When Discount Tire put new Wildpeaks on my truck they inflated them to 38 PSI.

The ride is definitely smoother and quieter, but I'm not sure how much of this is due to tire pressure and how much is due to having brand new tires.

I'll probably up it to 40 PSI just to see how I like it.

Personally, I'm willing to put up with a somewhat harsher ride if it means better mpg and longer tire wear.

All those ranges seem very high. Most people are running rims that won't handle the weight rating of a good E rated tire.

I've run 42 front and 40 rear for multiple sets and over 100,000 miles. Seems like a good balance of wear/ride. If you get too low they will wear uneven and roar more. If you get too high, it will bounce all over creation. Just my penny.
