I am trying ti figure out what speakers to buy. I have been to the Crutchfield site and many others trying to figure out what would sound great but not break the bank. I think that I have overloaded my feeble mind with too much info and am suffering from analysis paralysis. I will be adding a Kenwood head unit and have a JL Audio 300/4 amp to install. I can't decide if component speakers are worthwhile or not. If yes, should I mount the tweeters on the "sail" or up on the dash where the current speakers are? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Component are better investment but require more wiring. There is a cross over that needs to be installed and wired accordingly. I prefer 3 way for the front better mids and highs. And 2 way for back none component.
