Hey brother I ordered 83320-0C050 to install on my 26 gallon fuel pump and it seems that the electrical connector is correct but to attach the fuel sender to the pump doesn’t match. Did you run into this issue as well?

Currently debating whether to order part
    77020-0C160

Which is the fuel pump and sender for the 38 gallon tank w/o flex fuel. Just wasn’t sure if the pump itself would have issues connecting to the truck

Thanks! So I did ended up ordering part 77020-0C160 and the fuel pump plugged and fitted right in. Fuel gauge is working appropriately now and after filling the tank a few times, the DTE is reading closer to accurate than before

Swap went easier than I honestly figured. For reference, I got mine used out of a 2017. Re-used my entire pump assembly and it has been a GREAT upgrade but I did have the P0441/P0455 evap codes pop up shortly after. Checked all connections (best that I could) cleared them, they came back, cleared them after replacing my old cap, came back, without dropping the tank again, I am at a loss what's going on. I had zero evap issues before. Anyone else have this issue? I do have the OBD Fusion app. Can anyone guide me through how to check my system and try and pinpoint the cause?

*FYI, my truck is 2015 FF CM and tank was from a 2017 DC

I paid $500 for everything. Pump assembly, straps, crossmember, etc...
Good, point. I'll read back through and see of maybe I missed something.
Another thing to note just for additional info; 2miles after filling it up after the swap my miles to empty calculated accurately based on capacity. After a tank or 2, it want back to the old "296 miles to empty" that I ALWAYS got with the 26gal tank. Fuel gage isn't exactly accurate either anymore but still getting roughly 420+ to tank.

I was lucky and found the 38 gallon tank on car-part.com for $277. I had to get the cross member and other supplies from my dealer for about $1300.

I took a while to find a tank close and at a good price.

Not entirely. The skid plate part number he listed is incorrect. I know because I bought it and it’s for the 26gal tank. I later went through the rest of this thread and found my answer on post #420

Also, be aware that the parking brake cable will interfere with the new cross member. I had just about finished installing the new crossmember when I found that the cable interfered. Perhaps there’s an OE mount that relocates it, but I haven’t searched. This is how I got the cables to clear:

Any pictures of the solution for the brake lines on the passenger side? They run straight through the mount holes area. Or part numbers for the correct brake lines that jog around the cross member?

Finished my tank swap: few things I observed during the process:
It was easier to cut the welds on one ear of the cross member get that bolted in and then slide the other side of the cross member and weld back together in the truck. I wish I would have thought of this before notching the cross member.

I bought a used tank that came with a fuel pump, my pump from the 26 gallon tank did not want to fit the 38 gallon tank so I went with the one it came with.

the straps from the 26 g tank are tight but fit the 38 g tank. (RCI straps should be here in a few weeks to replace them all)

other than that, it was really straight forward.
