It's been a year and a half now, and my heated seats are still working great. If you have questions, or want photos, let me know!

    Merry Christmas @Bourbon !

I'm in the thick of the wiring saga. I too, have two wire pads and I think I'll just follow the PDF as instructed and things will turn out with a hi and low. Everything is IN the seat. My ONLY question is... I hate cutting factory wiring.. How did you keep the seatbelt ground in pin #3 AND add one additional wire to Pin #3 from the heat pad?

I am the same... hate cutting factory wiring but I had to cut it to splice it to the connector. I can share a picture later if you want?

Ya I rigged it up to work temporarily but any other ideas would help.

I'm not electrical wiz, and I'm not sure how I would do it. But a small pigtail that you can plug both the existing and new ground wire into would be cool. And then pin that...

Sorry I am taking so long, I unbolted the seat to make sure I got you some decent pictures. First picture with the orange circle shows the jump from seatbelt to heated seat harness, and is how I have it all buttoned up under the truck. Second picture, I took the zip tie and tape off.

The black wire is coming out of the seatbelt harness, I just brought it around into the heated seat harness. I think I did this on my bench without considering how the harnesses runs under the seat. Maybe you splice it in a different place, or on the other side of the splice, and it may lay nicer. I think all of my connections are soldered with heat shrink, as opposed to just crimping butt splices - they aren't as good. Hope this helps.
