    All due respect:

Perspective based on owning both a 22 Tundra Limited and a 23 TRD Pro (HV). A couple of Mustangs and Mopars.

    1. The 23 TRD Pro Tundra is much faster from the line then the 22 Tundra. It is only slightly faster from a 60MPH WOT punch
    2. The HV 23 Tundra TRD Pro is surprising how fast it is.
    3. Reality check, it gets smoked by any of the High-Performance cars you listed. My current ride, Mustang RS3 goes 0-60 under 4 seconds. 40 to 120 in 6 seconds. You can do the math - this is a very quick car.

In the end, it's all about the driver and skills. Hit me up if you are ever in the area for a short ride.

    Respectfully

I can smoke my tires too if I tie a chain around my frame and tie it around a tree. Same logic?

I use my Tundra as a truck, it tows/hauls etc. No need for quick 0-60 times, it has a job and does it well.

If I need an adrenaline rush, I just get the Hellcat Redeye out. Problem solved.Screenshot_20230817_160511_Facebook.jpg

Very true ! Not into racing at all, but it's nice to know you can put some distance quick on annoying type drivers that are out there tailgating, texting, unaware and slack-jawed ect ..

I sold my Tundra and picked up a 24 Tacoma TrailHunter. Recently retired :) and just didn't need all the room. So far, quite impressed with the Tacoma. It's at least a 1000 pounds lighter, drives very nice, and great off the road. The Turbo/HV 2.4 is very fast with tons of low-end torque - I am not disappointed in performance comparing to the 23 Tundra

not sure what the answer to OP's question but i do know, regardless of which Tundra you drive most of the under 50 y/o Ford, Chevy, GMC drivers insist on burning off the line to prove their truck is faster.

Pretty sure my Hybrid has like 90 more ft-lbs of torque than the non-hybrid. It is nice to have that instant response with the hybrid.

You must be a young buck, in the earlier 90s a 0 to 60 of 6 seconds was one of the fastest on the road outside of super cars. Mustangs/Camero`s.... Honda DOHC VTEC models. Vettes were in the lower 5 second range.

We sure as heck thought they were darn fast back then

I wonder if that's enough to overcome the extra 500-600 lbs of weight the Hybrid system adds with respect to 0-60 times?

Can break the tires loose in non-hybrid as well without using Tow+ mode, like some mentioned. I can even get tires to bust loose when pulling out semi-hard and then dumping it around 15-20mph.
