I recently replaced the fabric splash guards in each fender well. OEM was too expensive (currently on disability and 1 armed... shoulder reconstruction).
In total, it took about an hour, using 1 arm and a few clamps. With 2 working arms, 30 minutes. I suggest aligning the 'ribs' a little better than I did for aesthetics

Lowe's had idoor/outdoor runner material called 'Nance' by Blue Hawk for $3.95/foot. Purchased 4' total, although about 2' would have been enough.

For the clips that hold the pieces in place, I was able to salvage most of the stock clips, and had an assortment of extras laying around for the rest. For reference, they're part number 90080-46327. I used a dedicated tool to remove the clips, a screwdriver or two would probably work as well.

Remove the clips, trace the peice onto the rubber side of the new material, mark the holes as well. Cut out your pattern, I used a 5/16 drill bit with a peice of wood beneath for the holes. Pop your new pieces in with the clips and you're done.
It's been about 2 weeks of driving in rain, mud and freeway, all is holding up great.20190125_202933.jpg 20190126_102614.jpg 20190126_095130.jpg Screenshot_20190131-223055_Gallery.jpg

Looks really good. I used the same material to make a doggy door on my garage and one on my shed. Stores get between $50-$100 for a doggy door now.
I cut my holes, trimmed it with KDAT 1x4 and used the outdoor carpet for the flap. Have under $30 total into 2 doggy doors.
The stuff seems to hold up well to UV and heavy use, although a wheel well application will be extreme duty use compared to my 2 mutts.

That’s rather ingenious! I just had to rig mine yesterday as one of the holes rips through and it was falling down on top of the reservoir for my shock.

Mine too, the stock guards don't last long if you're in the dirt much. Ideally, I would go with Mammoth Guards

A little of this and a little of that.
Thank you for the inexpensive idea! Great job! I guess I’m going to Lowes in the morning.
