Hey Guys - can anyone give a recommendation for weatherstripping to seal the truck bed with a tonneau on top? I can see a gap on the sides where the tailgate closes and was going to add some weather stripping to hopefully better weatherproof it back there. Thanks in advance!

This is what I did. The weather strip is from Homey D and the sheet rubber on the gate is some 1/16 thick that I had laying around, 1/8 might work better. The duct tape is gone, this was the prototype. I attached the sheet rubber with Go2Goo, I think that's what it's called.

There is an aftermarket tail gate seal for the 07-13....I'll see if I can find the link.

Check out Access Trail Seal. It's inexpensive, easy to apply and it works.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
    Extang 1140 MaxSeal

Best thing out IMO. Enough to seal the whole tailgate/bed.

It's been on for about 5 years and has held up very well. As long as the surface is clean and warm it goes on easy and should be just fine.
