Good honest skill trade, I tell my nephews, great nephews, go learn pipe fitting, welding, jobs you get your hands dirty. Good welder can be in 6 digits. But noooo, they want to be game programmer....

I can’t sit behind a desk. Maybe when I’m a little older and ready for a management position. But right now I like working with my hands. Being a game programmer has got to be a hard industry to get your foot in. Plumbing is forever. Drains are forever. That’s what my boss that taught me used to say. Someone will always need a plumber. There will always be work. My work spoke for itself. I made a name amongst the other plumbing companies and was often offered jobs. But I was loyal. It was nice to know I could always get a job. Now I wouldn’t mind trying something else that I could master.

Always heard that if you are a salesman (know matter what you sell) you will always be successful as long as you believe in the product you sell.

Have a neighbor who is a real estate agent who makes great money (Raleigh, NC area is booming with new homes) but HATES his hours. He never knows his schedule because he has customers calling 24x7 (literally) trying to schedule home visits. I would not want his schedule for any amount of money.

Have a friend who is a used car salesman and works 16 hours a day 6 days a week. Makes great money but is it worth never been home??? He has always said the money in cars is on the used car side.... not sure if that’s true but makes sense as I see a used car lot on every street corner.

As stated maybe you can try part time car sales....

I did work part time at Lowe’s Home Improvement while in Law enforcement and was actually a great part time job. They paid great, had great retirement plan and worked with my schedule.

Just had an employee quit to follow his passion which is drone photography. He got his license and now works for several real estate companies (commercial and residential) and is already making six figures playing with his drone and taking photos of real estate for sale. Trying to get my 19 yr old son down this avenue....

Good Luck and let us know what you decide! Follow your heart and what your gut or instinct is telling you!

You have any available money? You can buy broken down cars and fix them up for profit.

Have you thought about selling medical devices, real estate, or even working at an off-road shop?

I’d say find what you like doing and keep at it.
