I found a deal on a Titan XD that financially makes a lot of sense. Tell me why I should choose a Tundra over a Titan XD.

    Current rig is as follows:
    2018 limited cement crew max
    Ready lift 3/1 lift
    Fuel 18” wheels
    275/70 KO2s
    TRD CAI
    TRD exhaust
    Debagdged
    ESP under seat storage

It only financially makes since if you go Toyota. Nissan will cost you more in the long run.

Titan is relatively new..... No reliability numbers yet and won't be as good as your Tundra. Not to mention the Titan is fugly.

Well here in a couple years that Titan XD will be worth half what it is today. That’s not accounting for however much you’d be sinking into repairs or other issues with it being a Nissan.

I have been thinking of making the same switch, I can get a new Titan for the same amount I owe on my tundra plus it has a 100k warranty. I'm out of warranty now on my tundra. The titan looks good in certain colors/trim levels, I went to our local auto show last night and sat in a titan for the first time and it wasn't bad. The seats were really comfortable and interior was pretty nice. I haven't driven one yet so cannot comment there.

Your gonna get a lot of tundra reliability, etc. Toyota had to tear my motor down to fix the cam tower seal. I have never had any other vehicle I owned have the motor worked on... So there's that. And there is no guarantee my other side won't leak or even the repaired side again.

    Function before sparkle.
    Personal opinion:

Titan is a decent truck. It will handle mostly anything of what a person can throw at it. But it never does it great or really excels in anything.

    It’s beige and lacks soul.

Your Tundra, albeit older tech and design, has a personality and character. Tundras create an almost emotional relationship with their owners. If you didn’t feel it, you wouldn’t have posted to this forum.

Tundra looks better than Titan, imho.
Tundra appears to be larger than Titan.
Tundra resale should be more than Titan.
Tundra should be more reliable than Titan.

    I'd keep the Tundra.

Um. Does Titan have an awesome online community like Tundra?

Something to think about. Make sure you like the neighborhood before you move....

I’ll be honest, the Titan to me is one ugly ass truck. The front end is brutal. @Alloutdrs1 has mentioned the cam tower which is legitimate. It’s BS that it’s going on still but I believe once it’s fixed the issue will be behind you.
I can assure you if you go scroll therough Titan forums you’ll find they have plenty of issues. These manufacturers that are offering long warranties are doing so to win some business because they know they have a rep of not being reliable. Dodge and Kia offer long warranties so that should prove that point.
Your Tundra looks bad ass and will be worth more down the road than that Titan and that to me makes financial sense.

Don’t do it! I’ve never loved a vehicle more then I love my tundra. I’ve never been in one of the Titans. But I’ll never get another truck other then a tundra. Toyota it’s self has proven to be such an awesome company. There reliability is enough for me. And really any vehicle you own is going to cost you something down the line depending on how long you keep it. Tundra for life!

I would consider the gas-powered Titan XD if I needed extra payload/ability to do some fifth wheel towing. Without knowing more specifics about the possible future truck and intended use you're looking at there really isn't much anyone could say.
