What do you think makes someone trade this Tundra in??

I know of a wealthy person who bought a Tundra and had it lifted and added a bunch of other high dollar mods then decided he didn't like it and traded it in. He did not, however, buy a Kia.

 

What the phvck is this from the internet ad???? Odometer is 8874 miles below market average!

Also makes me think of these Detroit based car/truck ads where they state in print "$11,000 cash valueS. What the phvck are cash values? Oh. "Hey, we'll throw in a spray in bedliner. That's normally two thousand dollars."

 

That Kia dealer likely bought it at auction from another dealer that took it on trade that didn't want it on it's lot (or they had a hard time selling so they took it to auction)

 

He could have traded for something on their used lot.

It’s not uncommon in our sales department for the guys to trade in and out of brand new rigs. Even after spending lots on mods. We’ve also see some come back to inventory after guys lose their jobs, so it’s hard to say one way or the other.

I don’t know the story on this one but I see trucks similar to this at the auction every week. Brand new trucks with lots of money put into them. Could be someone that couldn’t afford it, or even someone that could, hard to speculate!

I've seen a Porsche at a Kia dealer. I am just hoping he traded for a Porsche.

 

I recently saw a 2014 here locally while shopping for mine and it only had 3,000 miles on it. I was curious so I asked and was told it was a NASCAR work truck.

Don't underestimate just how bad some people are with money.

Lost his job. No emergency fund. Suddenly that $700/month payment is too much to handle. The same person is the one who bought all those add ons with a credit card.

Debt is the American way for most people.

I bought my 14 last year with 3k or so on it. Carmax at the time had 3 14 CM's with under 4k.
