After a few months I finally got around to wiring the lights in my grille. :laser:

Took her on a little dirt today. Nothing crazy, but the views were nice.

Thanks, man. I had an '04 silver Tacoma that I loved for a long time, so you definitely didn't make a bad choice.

Installed some universal seat covers (Dickies) from Walmart for under $50. It probably doesn't look as good as the expansive seat covers but it will do the job. Baby bottle and milk dripping onto the chair fabric is not cool.

Put in my 2.5" leveling kit (no the front isnt actually higher than the back, just the way my picture looks! I don't wear flat bills and work in the oilfield.)

And added 1.5" spacers on the wheels.

Was going to put in my light bar but I need to fab some new brackets. So that will be next along with my fender flares which just need to be painted.

I wish I could say its mine. My buddy is a service manager at a car dealership where I live, and we're close friends with the owners son who let us use the shop.

Looks great. You have a link for that grille? I'm trying to get rid of all my ugly chrome and was planning on putting in the leds for my grille. Might look into this one and kill two birds with one stone.

I got it off Amazon. It’s an EAG grille. They also make it with the black surround.

My 1st oil change @ 15k yesterday(she had ~11k miles with fresh oil when I purchased CPO). Breeze on this truck.
    ^^^ pics taken for MyCarFax

The EWK oil extractor sucked-out every drop (not a single drop from the oil pan when I removed the drain plug; you have to be cognizant of when the tube hits the bottom of the pan so it doesn't start curling-up.)
^^^ I had to stop ~1/2 way through since it "only" holds 6.5L. :hungry:

    Tools for the job: :spending:
EWK fluid extractor (manual pump or compressor capability): link
    Filter drain tool: link

Hooked up Techstream hoping to change my turn signal "lane change" blink count, but doesn't look like that's a configurable option anymore :notsure:

Have you asked the dealership to do it? Some will do it for free; mine did, changed from 3 to 5 blinks...

I haven't yet. I like to tinker with shit myself, almost completely break it, get it back to pre-effed-up state, then go to the pros. I'd assume they just use Techstream to make the change, too, so maybe I just missed the setting. I'll check it out again later, and thanks for confirming it's still a thing on '18s

I liked this stubby antenna because it's a little over a foot tall.

What all can you do with techsteam? Do I need it/should I get it?
I see several listings on Amazon, is there one in particular that is recommended?

Did you spray bedline it or wrap it? I want to do the same thing. Thought about getting it wrapped but rather do it on my own to save money.

If u love those I'm guessing you might love the stock pro rims? If so, I might be selling my rims, tires, and spidertrax 1.25 spacers in the near future. I'm in the process of changing wheels and tires. I'm going to hold onto old for a little after I put on new, just to make sure I like. But if do, they'll be on the market if u wanted 1st shot. I'll keep u posted, but if interested don't buy anything in meantime lol.
