image.jpg So I was at my Toyota dealer having my 16 tundra serviced and saw this really nice 06 tundra They just got in. Turns out it was an 06 double cab trd that an old guy bought new and only drove it 14k. This truck is spotless it looks brand new it was garaged kept with a canopy on it. So I traded in my 16 lol. I have been thinking about dropping some dept they gave me almost what I payed for my 16 and I dropped 20k in debt.

nice!!! My dad used to have a silver 05 1st gen when I was younger. I have a buddy who's grandpa has a 02 Silverado extended cab 4x4 that he only drives once a week to take the trash to the Dump it has 22,000 miles last time I rode in it. People try to buy it from him all the time

I'd have done the same... I started out wanting a low mileage 1st Gen with 4WD... ended up with a '16 but i'd trade in a heartbeat for the right 1st gen

That's a great find!! like a needle in a haystack really... but I don't understand why everyone loves the first gen Tundras so much? Especially more than the new ones?? I would pick my '14 over the first gen any day... but that is my opinion. Is that not the 4.7l V8? They started making the 5.7L in 2007 I believe... So is there something im missing or is it just a preference thing? And don't get me wrong, I have always liked the first gen Tundras... Ive liked them all really. And yours is seriously a very rare find.

In my area tundras and Tacomas go for top dollar. I paid book value for the truck which is 22,800. There was 4 guys lined up behind me wanting it if I backed out. In fact I had my canopy up for sale and I had two guys call to see if I wanted to sell the pickup lol. Yes I paid a lot for it but I got an almost brand new tundra that didn't cost me 41k. I loved my 16 tundra cm and I do miss it. But so far I have put 2k on this tundra and I'm really loving this truck as well. This truck has great power and plenty of room and it drives really nice. And I'm getting 17mpgs with 33" tires.
