The BFG KO/2's I had were pretty good on the rain. The Nitto Ridge Grapplers I currently have have been excellent in the rain.

I don’t know man. That shit looks nasty. Looks like mud terrain territory.

Agreed. If that's your usual OR terrain then you may want to do mud terrain instead of AT.

An AT tire won’t help in that situation. You need a Mud Terrain. Was always pleased with the Wrangler MTR...

It's not, I just needed to unload something I had in the bed into the shop. Since it was heavy I thought I'd be smart and back the truck up to the door of the shop. It has been raining a lot but I don't think I've ever seen the ground this soft.

I had duratracs on my xterra and went wheeling w an xterra group at coal creek in TN. They were new out at the time. Guys I went with thought I had MTs they performed so well up a snot slick hill side. The side lugs have me some good traction.

I'm the 2nd guy up the hill in the video, the dark red one.

I did like my DuraTracs. Pretty good for an AT. Lots of siping too.

This. We get what we call "gumbo" up here in Alberta. Really thick, sticky, slippery mud. It'll gum up tires in about 5 seconds flat. My ST Maxx maintain their tread clearing ability and traction no problems.

We have gumbo here in Louisiana too, but we normally just eat it with a side of potato salad. But we have "gumbo" mud as well. I'm not in it often, but when I am it would be nice not to get stuck.

BFGs are always my favorites, especially the ko2s. They are beautiful and handle very well. I have them on my Wrangler and they do great in the Mississippi River sludge, on the beach, and in the constant street flooding around New Orleans.
My Tundra came with Hankooks they look great and handle excellent in the rain...though I haven’t had it off road yet.

Toyos are decent and nice looking, and less expensive.

I have NITTO GRAPPLERS on my Tundra 10 ply for pulling my camper and have been impressed with the wet roads snow and ice with these tires. When it comes to mud I went to help a stranded motorist that had called in AAA to get unstuck with Michelin tires I pulled AAA up the hill. Love my Tundra and my NITTO GRAPPLERS the down side to NITTO GRAPPLERS cost and I will be lucky to get 35,000-40,000 miles on them. I am at 30,000 now.
