There's a simple fix. Remove the tire. Mark on the edge of the vertical arm that holds the ball joint (not on the ball joint), where it hits the springs. Take out the grinder and grind about 2 millimeters on the straight edge. Only 2 millimeters max. It's still completely safe, because only the driver side has that extra edge that hits the spring. Then brush some paint on the ground edge to prevent rust. The passenger side doesn't need to be ground. I hope that helps. If anyone needs some pictures, then let me know.

The arrow points to that edge, where I ground.

If you'll grind it, you will need to push the lower control arm up to gain clearance for the grinder to get in there. Do really slow, or you will cut the ball joint.

    I'm so lost!

You got 5100s and SPC arms, what springs are you running? Can you describe what is wrong with the arms?
