#16 UW vs #8 WSU... who are you rooting for?

I live in western wa, so usually I want the huskies but, I was born in eastern wa and they are ranked higher so, Im gonna have to go with the cougs on this one..

 

We in Utah are patiently waiting either one.

We owe payback to both...Go Utes!! Haha

Crazy game!

 

I'm a devoted UW fan but I think the Cougs have a better team this year. We'll see. Currently 20-15 UW.

 

And UW takes another one home. Was a great game.

 

I'm a WSU grad but I really couldn't care less about sports I don't personally take part in or know someone personally that takes part. I've always wondered why everyone make a big deal about the Apple Cup. There's no rivalry there. In order to have a rivalry, there has to be some sense of equality. There has to be an element of suspense regarding who is going to win. In the Apple Cup, UW wins 70% of the time. The teams aren't close to equal in ability and history is proof of the disparity. To call the game a rivalry is disingenuous.
