I prefer the looks of tow mirrors (which is of course subjective), plus the obvious benefits if you tow.

yeah i had them on my chevy, i do tow 2 different trailers a handful of times a month but not super large. my biggest one is 5 x 12 enclosed trailer, and these tiny mirrors are killing me lol

I like the way my stockers look, and I don't need anything more for the things I tow. Plus it's nice not having to fold in my giant mirrors on the tight trails I tend to find myself on. The tow mirrors also tend to always be right in the way of something I need to see, causing a blind spot. Only experienced them on other trucks though, but I would assume the tundra has the same issue. Really depends on what you do most with your truck

I like the look of the tow mirrors better

I wish they came with power fold though and also BSMS

I have a Platinum and don't wanna lose any function of my mirrors, memory I guess I could deal without but not power fold at this point I use them all the time

Also I have a stone wall on one side of my driveway and a giant oak tree on the other, if I hug the wall I have about 8 inches clearance from the tree with my small mirrors, tows would be sketchy for me. Cutting the tree down is about $3k, some day it will go though, need to save up some cash though maybe by then someone will make "platinum" tow mirrors

I prefer tow mirrors that telescope outward vs the style that pivot into the towing position. I had a 2003 Dodge Ram with pivoting tow mirrors and you have to completely readjust the mirrors every time you use them to tow. Heat and power adjust are nice features. I wish Toyota offered a tow mirror with blindspot system for my 18 limited.

thats the only thing stopping me is the blind spot...but i was used to it on my chevy, this truck has more blind spots. i wanna get the tow mirrors so i can see my blindspot, creating another blindspot in the process

i believe the OEM toyota style are like that. these are the ones i had on my chevy, they do make em for tundras. debating between these but i think i like the OEM ones better.

Mine are A1 tow mirrors with smoked lenses. I like them but sometimes out hunting and what not they do stick out a bit far on some of the roads or trails

I had tow mirrors on my '07 and always wanted the smaller mirrors. The tow mirrors create blind spots at 11 and 2 o'clock. The 11 o'clock caused me to not see a pedestrian one time. (after her reaction, I'm almost sorry I did see her:anonymous:)
Now I've got the small mirrors and want the tow mirrors 'cause the grass is always greener.

These mirrors are from A1 Auto. They are a little cheaper than the oem ones. And yes they are plug and play. They came with amber side lenses and the smoked Greg ones so I just swapped them out. They are LED lights. Lol mine is a 15 but yes mgm is nice

I like the mirrors @Muleycrazy13 has. Those look BA. And, you can get those with BSM. I think I'd get tow mirrors again if it weren't for the tight trails I've been frequenting lately.

Has anyone hooked up the above mirrors and had issues gettin the turn signal on the front to work? I just mounted them and for some reason that front amber signal/marker light doesn’t light up at all

I spend most of my time looking out my rigs mirrors.
Its awkward driving with small mirrors for me. Tow mirrors for me.
