What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Added the color matched front bumper caps over the weekend. It was a bit of a process but totally worth it. Grille, Surround and Bulge are next.

Color matched Pro grill/bulge, SSO slimline bumper with bar, Baja LED bar, Baja fog lights, Smittybilt X20 with synthetic line and Factor 55 flatlink-E with fairlead.

 

So, this is a bit much, but I am getting new AT tires and 6112 front and 5160 rears tomorrow. Today, I removed the TRD wheels, washed and waxed them front and back. Treated the wheel and hub with anti seize-changing a flat on these things would be impossible without a mallet to knock off the wheel! LOL, pretty over-the-top! Did the same with the spare



treated tiny spots that look like future rust.

 

Wash, dry, and detailed the interior. Used my foam cannon for the first time today on the truck. Worked great!

 

mine are on the way, do you know offhand what size Torx the bed bolts are?

Lowmax tonneau cover was an amazing purchase prior to my cross country move.


Black stealth running boards to help the wife and daughter into the truck.



Go figure I found this in a gas station in New Mexico. Should I put it in the bottom right corner of the rear window or in that blank spot on the right next to the license plate?


I also have cheap rubber floor mats and a Rubbermaid storage caddy the wife bought to help keep the truck tidy.

Took off those 'old man' style running boards and removed the front little mud flap!

 

Yeah i had them on my last Tundra. Nice board I just didnt have much luck with them

 

Got these in today

 

Installed Husky liners in the front and back (full coverage) today.

 

The trash would be the best bet for that sticker.

 

Finally chrome delete completed. Got the last of the chrome gone. Linexed bumper end caps.

Also digging the bronze matched toyota lettering on the grill, great idea to pull those wheels to the truck somehow.
What kinda fogs are those? I like the pod look, and the trim is perfect

 

Thanks Sean! Those fogs are the Cali--raised 18W Amber with their tundra fog bracket. It was hard as hell to put the brackets on because of alignment issues. I had to bend the bracket several times and the lower mounting bolt was extremely hard to reach around and under to tighten from behind the end caps (maybe i got a bunk set). I tell you the only way I could attach the bolts for the bracket properly was to remove the end caps which I had to do anyways to get them linexed. In any case, the 18W amber are not as bright as I was hoping and if I had to do it again, I would probably get much higher output .That was my fault for not researching light output properly which I should have. In any case, they do blow away my oem fogs so I'm happy.

 

It only took me 5k miles to figure this out....

Mine still manages to fall off that little holder, though, especially if it’s windy.

Predator steps and bed cover all oem toyota

 

How do you like the bed cover? I'm in the market for one and considered going with Toyota's.

 

I literally just had to put on but so far the fit finish feel great. And I had it installed at the stealership so now if anything goes wrong with it they're holding the bag. It's pretty low profile it's sticks up a little bit but I'm okay with the amount. I don't know how it will hold up as far as water and things like that but I'll definitely update you after the first rain storm

 

Washed and vacuumed it after the auto starter was finished up.

I just bought a 5 gallon jug of this stuff. Is it OK to spray it on after i just sealed and waxed it? I did that a couple days ago. My jug should be here in a couple days I was gonna use this as maintenance to get through the winter. Then clay seal wax again in April.

 

I don’t see why not. Shouldn’t cause any issues, I used it in top of another sealant. (Hydro2)

I don’t use wax, so I don’t know how that might affect it. Might shorten the longevity maybe? I know wax doesn’t stay as long as sealer.
