It's like that new show on fx "Mr in between" from what I've seen on commercials for it. He says people are assholes because people let them get away with it. Not him or me, I'm doing the world a favor lol.

It seems to me that the old school respect thing died not long after my generation. I'm 40, back then we played, get this, outside even on the street, we came home when the street light turned on, we handled our disputes with a good ol fashioned throw of hands, then we were friends a couple days later. My dad would whoop my ass if I ever disrespected an adult or got in trouble at school. It's crazy, if my 9 yr old acts up in school all the teachers come to the conclusion that he must be dealing with something. Instead of just be a dumb ass 9 yr old and showing off in front of friends. There must be something bothering him emotionally for him to act like that, they ask what he's dealing with instead of punishing him, they are trying to raise fruitcakes with no discipline. If I got in trouble at school for like disrespecting a teacher I was scared to death to come home bc I knew my ass was getting whooped. Kept me in line though. Kids nowadays dont have a healthy fear of their parents. Thats part of problem. The computer babysits them. That's all they know, all the nonsense they see online. They dont deal with real people in real life so they have no respect for others. Say whatever they want hiding behind the keyboard, no consequences. While I don't beat his ass, I still try to instill some of those old school principles in them.

    Rant over.

Had these Eibach Coilovers for over a year sitting in my garage. With two young kids, I never got a chance to install until now. Man, I wish I didn't wait so long. What a difference. Went from a readylift spacer to these. Ride is so much smoother. Definitely feels more planted. Overall, handles 100% better. Cant wait to test these out on some of the trails. Anybody that is on the fence about getting a coilover for a 3 inch lift, that doesn't break the bank and rides just as good as stock, if not better, I suggest you go with these. Also, for all you DYI's, the install was a breeze. It took me about 3 hours from start to finish by myself. A big thank you to all the info that you forum members posted on tips and tricks for installation. It made it really easy.

Stubby antenna. Not thrilled about it, it was aluminum and I plastidipped it but didn’t want to cancel the Amazon order so I’m ordering a different one, but at least this doesn’t hit the garage door anymore.

I have the 40" S8 in the hood bulge. I'm curious how much brighter the new one is compared to the older one. A new 30" bar should be brighter than an older 40" bar.

Alas, the install wont be for a few weeks. Still have to get a Switch Pro-9100.

Added the TRD Pro grille and got a great deal on a Craftsman toolbox, mounting was interesting with the bed rails though.1EA38EEF-AB6E-4BA9-8FDC-945FD58552F6.jpg 350FBFAF-D3D2-4D35-8CEC-857697786B93.jpg

Oh ok, then you're already well aware of how awesome the BD lights are. I should've known with the tag baja mike loluili>ipp8pòullllilll. I was just looking today at that new laser light they taking preorders on now for guy. That shit shoots like 60% further than their current onyx bar. That's sick, only prob it's like a $G for a 10 inch, $1600 for 20, and right around $2G's for a 30. That's alot of coin for a lightbar. I'm sure they're badass though and u get what u pay for.

Yeah if I recall correctly I think they said somewhere around 18-30% brighter on their newer models. I think around April was the order date of the brighter versions. Of course, I missed out on my s8 being brighter, along with my first pair of squadrons. The 2nd pair I just put in the rear should be the brighter pair. I never really noticed or studied it to be able to confirm or deny if they are. I'll look 1 day if I remember. I could pretty easily change out my fogs if they got me the newer ones but as for the S8, that thing is buried in my front SSO bumper and not so sure it would even be worth exchanging for the next gen. I don't know how people are making out with it but I know they were sending pm's to see about exchanging for the newer brighter versions. I'd love to do it, but quite honestly I'm not so sure it's worth the hassle and they're pretty damn good and bright to begin with. Don't exactly feel like I need anymore output from them. Near and midfield is covered both front and rear. If anything I'd add a little more long range lighting. It's not essential as I'm not night racing or anything, but I also cant deny that I've had my eyes on putting a couple amber LP9s on the top bull bar of my SSO bumper. That and there's always that new laser light I just mentioned to consider for covering that long range field.

Loaded up the work horse after work. Just another day of working to the sun come up and the sun go down. Had a buddy of mine that works for a tree company drop a log truck load of logs off for me. Yup it's already time to work on next years firewood.

Putting that bedslide to good use. So much more convenient to load and unload the whole entire bed simply by standing at the rear tailgate.

While I haven’t done all of these today and will post pics later. I have added the intermittent wiper switch, the black stealth running boards and a lowmax tonneau cover to hide all my crap during my cross country move.

I hate loving this website. You bastards make me spend money.
First it was the OCD console organizer. That's an inexpensive must have if you own a Tundra. The black hole must be tamed.

Then came the tray that sits above. That's a borderline must have.

    61cWDwoZDqL.SX500.jpg

I needed something for the tow hitch. A cover or something. Not planning on towing anything in the near future but who knows. I really couldn't find anything that appealed to me. I'm not going to put a Dallas Cowboys hitch cover on it. I'm not a loser. So losers are not going to ride with me. I couldn't find a Red Sox hitch cover that I liked. Last night I went with something that is rumored to keep people from tailgating, as so many do tailgate around these parts

    download.jpg

It did cross my mind about getting a plastic Toy Story Woody doll and hang it from the hook by one of Woody's hands. Think I'll pass on that though.

My truck is a non-LED truck. I've been looking at all the options to get everything LED. It is quite a bit of information to take in. What I have found out for the headlight solution is that I can buy the Toyota OEM LED housings from Roman and buy the appropriate wiring harness from iHacker. With regards to converting the fogs to LED, just buy the Morimotos for $170 from one of our vendors here. Interior LEDs... just pick a set from our vendors as well.
As far as the sound system, that's going to change to a Kenwood at some point. Speakers, amp, 10 woofer box, etc will come along with that.
I'd like to add the ESP plastic backseat storage tray also.
Maybe clear ceramic tint on the front windshield.

Now for a question. Are the Morimotos better than the OEM LED fogs? I'd like to get some advice before I click "buy".

Just curious, what does everyone else that has done this do with the piece that comes off the truck? Is it worth anything on resale or just trash.

Kinda proud of this mod because I actually saved money and got useful feature back. About 6 months ago I picked up a Bakflip on Craigslist but had to remove my tie down rails. Checked with Bacflip and found brackets and bolts to drop rails down pretty expensive. Picked up needed brackets and bolts from Lowes and installed this morning.

Didn’t do anything to it today but my buddy dropped off his Chevy while he went to the mountains so I had to do some comparisons. We have very similar trucks. We are both still at stock height black etc. Overall ours are way better (of course). Guess the chevys are a little wider but our look so much better overall. His feels like I’m driving a low rider with no turn radius. The hood feels 6x longer but it’s not. He’s got the longer bed so he gave up some back seat space. I’m pretty sure if I put a 1983 Chevy beside it it would look identical. Also his came with stock 22”rims. WTF?? Long story short, glad I don’t have a Chevy!!

Looks great Rich. Looks like a ton of work but gorgeous results. When u get to point of dreading doing all that for around a grand just get a coating and be good for at least 2 years. It stays clean for much longer and makes washing a breeze with immaculate results every time in just 30 min with just soap, water, and blower. I'm sold on the coating and when it no longer has it's hydrophobic qualities I'll be back to get it done again. Imo it's well worth the expense.

Just curious, I know u got toyo open country, which I believe is a MT? That also leads me to believe they are a bit loud at higher speeds. Are they loud? How do u like them? U feel like you'll get again? How they handle conditions? How they wearing based on how many miles? I've heard alot of mixed reviews and pricey, but overall pretty good. I'm asking you bc I know u will give me good, honest, and detailed feedback.

Reason I ask is I now got over 30k on my RGs and even though got some time, based on miles I put on I'm guessing will be needing to get new skins sooner than later and want to know what I'm getting in advance. So far I'm going the same route on RGs despite them being around $300/tire. They are a great tire in every aspect, but pricey. Others I will be considering is Falken wild peaks and general grabbers. Unless someone can convince me otherwise 1 way or other. TIA
