Thanks for the suggestions. That wiring issue is my biggest concern. Still dumbfounds me why Toyota has not made this a standard feature on these trucks.

Me To. If you have an 18 the wires are different than on 17 when you tap them
If 17 or before, you can follow pop lock instructions for wires; if not i can try and find you the link i found talking about the two wires or pull mine back apart and get you a pic

Much appreciated. Mine is actually an 08, but I am looking at getting a 19 next spring and that is why I was hoping it would be a factory option for the new year. No need for you to take yours apart but if you find the link that would come in handy for me next spring.

3\1 level lift, color matched handles and Mirror caps. 35% windshield , 20% everythind else
Great looking 3R3, love the boards, About $250 for color matched door handles and loose the emblems.

Thanks I like the boards as well. I ordered black door handles, might have them painted later, and color matched mirror caps, and a black 4x4 emblem for the back. Not sure what I want to do with the Platinum badges yet.

I put the black door handles on today to see how they look. Better than the chrome ones, but color matched in 3R3 will be better.

Thinking I’ll use plastidip on the emblems. Ditch them if I don’t like them in black.

Sorry to hear that, my 2018 sounds just fine except for the rear sub.

    Nothing...
My 2018 has the JBL Premium sound system. Check the performance of your subwoofer behind and under the left hand side rear seat. Bring it up to the factory if it isn't performing to your expectations. I love my 2018 other than that issue.

Hi, we're trying to decide between an 18 or waiting for a 19. According to Toyota's website, the 19 Platinum comes standard with push button auto start? Dealer we talked to today said that was probably a mistake, do you start yours with standard key or does it have a push button?
    Thanks!

Key. Go with the 2018 if it saves you money.
