I bought my son a Ford Raptor!

    So my oldest is a Ford Raptor fan. He has been talking about wanting a Raptor for many years. So I finally caved and bought him a Ford Raptor. I know it should have been a Tundra but they don’t make Toyota Tundra shells to fit his E-max RC truck. You didn’t really think I was going to buy a real Ford Raptor for one of my kids did you?! :rofl:

    Since I bought my new X Maxx truck I wanted to redo his RC truck so we can drive them together, break them, fix them and have some good father & son time. I painted the shell with a semi transparent metallic red paint. I then sprayed a metallic silver as a base layer. This changed the red to lighter and very heavy metallic paint. He wanted all the wheel wells and rockers high gloss black. He’s happy with his new Raptor shell. Now it’s time to take these trucks and SEND IT!!! :mudding:

    Yes sir. I almost got a camper shell and custom rack but I decided against it. For this build I want to have the Peragon Tonneau cover. Sometime I need my whole bed space for lumber.

    My grandson saw them last time I was there. Going to have to get one now. I think there was one for around $100. I was wondering if a Tundra body was available. Would be a lot of fun!

    The only RC body I know of the Tundra is by Pro Line. It’s the TRD Pro in a clear body ready for paint 1:10 scale. I want a Tundra body for my X Maxx but it’s a 1:6 scale truck.
