Remote Start Opinions

Looking for any opinions for remote starts. I have two local options in Compustar and Astro Start. Price isnt the issue just want to avoid problems.

I can't be much help, I do not have one yet ... I am ordering "https://www.12volt.solutions/products/2018-toyota-tundra-plug-play-remote-start-kit-h-key" and having a local shop install it for me ... ! It appears to be an easy install but at my age I just don't want to get involved in it ...

I’d like to see if there is one that ties directly into the factory remote.

 

I did this and have no issues. It was such a simple install anybody can do it. It literally took more time removing the panel than the install. Works great.

Does it shut off when you put the key in? Does it shut off after a serten amount of time?

 

No, it stays running just turn the key forward. If you step on the brake it shuts off.

Not 100% sure, I had it on for about 10 minutes. I would think it would shut off around 15 minutes. I will have to check that out.
