You’re a good sport bro. Seriously, get that all looked at. You can’t feel confident that any of it is done right.

What a bunch of dip shit's. You may want to find a new shop I don't believe they should be working on a vehicle.

Hard to believe they're in business but also not surprised. So many hacky shops in California. I would probably ask for a refund and run, then get a new set of u bolts and new set of center pins and start over.

Agreed. Go get your money back and take it somewhere to get it done right.

I'm sure they would not want the BBB aware or stuff this posted all over social media.....then again you should save others money and possibly lives. So get your money back, then post it all over the web and let BBB know

Do you think they put them on but it was not fully threaded so they fell off sometime while I was driving? Leaving a couple nuts off is seriously kinda crazy.

Hard to say for sure. Still horrible even if that's the case

I dont think so. Those nuts need pretty good torque, around 80lbs if I remember right. I remember laying on my back and having a hard time getting there from lack of leverage when I did mine. They wouldn't fall off and shouldn't be barely on like that, u bolts stretch so they would grab more thread as they are tightened. Guaranty they put them on finger tight and forgot to torque them.

Not saying blow up their spot but from how they left you that's an incomplete install and seriously dangerous. If they didn't know what they were doing they should have declined the job.

Might go without saying, shouldn't drive the truck until it's fixed. The nuts that are on aren't torqued, your truck is just waiting to snap that center pin and your axle will depart, taking your brake lines and such with it.

Dude, that's no joke. If it were me, I'd let the BAR know. There's shoddy work, and then there's negligence that could put people's lives at risk if that were to fail when you were doing 75mph on the 99 Fwy. That never should have gone out the door like that.

Dude, OP, i would go back and get a full refund! i also would not drive your truck anywhere!!!
Get that thing AAA to either Milogen Fabworks in san jose, 4wheel drive parts, or Me! one look at the picture, I would have never ever ever ever went back to that shop! that is just down right pathetic. I doubt they even put the leaf pack together properly the second time...
    Also
Ubolt torque for a 9/16 bolt is...
galvanized u-bolt is about 136 or plain ubolt is around 109

I would be worried about your front end even...

Seems like this shop would be a great place to buy some serious drugs!

They didn’t put it on right. They left an extra stock leaf on there which is why the bolts or nuts aren’t fully threaded. I saw a video of SDHQ putting some on and they only left the top leaf. It also looks a lot higher than 1.5”

Yup, I’m gonna try this weekend. I’ve already put new Ubolts on. That’s when I saw the extra stock leaf lol.

You should really make a big deal out of this. I dont say that often. I'm pretty easy going but this is bad and they are dangerous. Get your money back and then report them, maybe call the news. They should not be in business and are going to get someone hurt or killed.
