Grill for 2018 Limited Tundra

Hello all- I’m planning on getting a 2018 Tundra Limited, however don’t like the chrome grill. I was hoping to switch it out for a “sport” or trd pro grill. My concern is the front sensor. I’ve heard opposing opinions on if it will work with a new or after market grill. I’ve seen the switch on some you tube videos. Does anyone have any knowledge on any problems with the sensor with a swapped grill.

If you’re still undecided you could also paint it.

 

What color Tundra are you looking at? You could also keep the center piece and color match the hood and surround, or color match the surround and paint the center
