Now that official pics are out, the 2019 TRD Pro grille actually has a rectangular gap, you can't really leave it open if you don't have TSS. If you do have TSS, @ARES is making great brackets and covers either way.

Since I don't have TSS, I've been thinking of getting his cover or a hack, and it doesn't seem as clean as a 2018 grille with a Toyota emblem. Was looking forward to the new Pro grille, but I think I'm leaning towards the 2018 for an updated look instead.

After seeing a pic of the oem center trim piece from eBay I decided to try replicating the design using vinyl. I used scrap vinyl I had around the house and the design is not to scale, but not too bad for a first attempt.

I was going to go the vinyl route but I figured molded opaque plastic was a better fit

Tough call, to the untrained eye, it looks like an afterthought. We Tundra owners know it's for TSS.

Nice job thomasbus337! @ARES, will you be making a black plastic version that blends in with the rest of the grille for those that just need a cover?

Fix coming. Should be completed today.

2019 trd pro grille shield. Still have some work to do. Finally found a resin that works well with the radar sensor. Should have it dialed in today with finished photos. The grille piece will flow perfect with the rest of the grille.
