I'm in need of a small torque wrench or screwdriver that can do 8 pounds. I'll be using it to replace lenses on my Baja design lights. I've already cracked one set of lenses because apparently I can't do anything lightly... anyone have suggestions on an inexpensive brand? Or if not inexpensive, one that will measure accurately?

You mean 8 inch pounds I hope to hell not 8 ft pounds like you tried?

Try Sears ,ace someone like that.

But in all honesty 8 inch pounds if you feel it just start to go from free to starting to get some drag your done that fast man.

When the lens gets snug stop.. if you get alittle moisture you go 1/8 turn till it stops letting in moisture.

That stinks. You are just that strong!!

I'm sure the guys at Baja Designs can point you in the right direction.

If you get a torque screwdriver, get it calibrated. We get brand new torque drivers in our cal lab that fail calibration right out of the box and have to be adjusted.

I have been happy with my Wiha torque screwdriver. Matluth where do you send one to get calibrated? I would hope that a higher end brand like Wiha is already calibrated pretty doggone close?
