What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Bull bar looks good....I'm leaning the way you are in the step

 

Yeah, what I see though, my commuter keeps getting bumper marks from people that don't know how to drive in a parking lot environment. This should help in keeping the truck clean from most of those. The step is replaceable and paintable.

 

Headlight Revolution was nice enough to send me some reverse LED's after working with them to get the headlight wiring issue figured out. They're hilariously bright.

Thanks, I think they look really good too. No problems as of today. Just one red LED marker light not working on the lower left driver side.

Where did you wire them to? Mine are sitting on the workbench in the garage.

 

What year is your Tundra? I wired them to the cab lights Under the kick panel of the driver side door depending on the year of your Tundra the wire colors vary

 

No more trd sticker and a little safe.

 

Much easier to know for sure your spare is good.

 

Installed my $5 lock actuator on tailgate lock. DIY pop and lock. Works great and cost me under $20 because I needed to buy wire and loom. Highly recommend this mod. Only takes an hour or 2. It requires some mechanical and electrical skill maybe a 5 on 1-10 scale.

So I got a little sneak peak at my new hydrodipped non chrome cupholder and matched trd pro now custom shifter. I gotta wait for the clear to harden so will be picking up and installing tomorrow. I think I love it but will know for sure tomorrow when it's in. I wanted something custom and cool but didnt want it to be so over the top it was the only thing that was noticed inside the truck. Think I accomplished it. Adds to the truck without being the only sole focus. The design is riveted metal pieces, pretty cool and different imo.

Tnx Ron, much appreciated. I'm just hoping I like it as much in person and once in my truck. I almost went red/black snake skin but thought probably more generic and would probably stand out too much.

 

The tray that you use is better than the Salex one due to the open area to the left front. This is due to many folks using a cell charger and cable in the console area. The Salex tray does not have this open space that provides the room necessary for a cell charger/cable.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but the brushed silver square trim around the shifter can just be popped off without having to remove anything else? If so, and I like the shifter and cupholder trim in person installed I'm thinking i might just pop off that piece and leave it with my hydrodip guy too. Figure with those 3 pieces matching the pattern might complete the inside look in that area.

Yep. That outlet does get used from time to time so that's exactly why I went w/this one instead of the Salex.

 

I believe you are correct Ron which is why I'm going to leave that alone. I do have a plan for it tnx to @Jim LE 1301, but for now I'm only talking about the brushed silver looking piece, squarish around shifter. Sounds and looks like it sits on top of whole thing and pops off easy.

 

Appreciate u looking out, yeah that would be bad if someone thought they could just pop the tiny chrome thin piece. Wish u could though. Bc it doesn't along with the ac vent chrome is why they're staying in there.
