This boat and trailer only ways 2300 pounds, barely even felt it behind my Pro. And that's what I told the Highway Patrol that pulled me over for doing 78mph. Ouch, heavy fine.

@Relentless and I found a boat during one of our offroad cleanup events. So I towed it a few miles in the dirt back to base. Certainly interesting pulling a boat with no trailer!

    Pretty much!
There was a couple times where said boat wanted to slide a different direction than I was going. When in doubt...throttle out!

I found a scrapped boat out in the middle of the desert like that a couple years ago. Sitting on the ground next to the boat was a pair of ski boots. Damned odd combination. I was on the quad at the time so I left it where I found it.

What is the next mod? Just did a pure in my front yard...fun stuff.

Hope the fires up there have not affected you at all Medic. Some of the video footage some friends have been sending me from Canada is almost heart stopping.

Most of the fires are either way out west or on manitoba/ Ontario border which is about 24 hour drive from me. I have relatives that are displaced due to Fort Mac fires.

The forms are for the garage that I am building this year. Biggest mod so that I can do mods rain or shine. :)

Will be 42'x30' with 2 unheated bays, on larger heated bay and a full length loft for storage.

This is a good idea. I just signed a builder to build my next home so I will be able to start a build thread for it. Lot gets cleared in about 2 weeks and if everything goes as planned we should be digging footers in about 6 weeks.

I built our house 6 years ago. I would do it again tomorrow if my wife would let me. :) I have had these garage/ shop plans in my head and on scrap paper for 15+ years. In my opinion, it is better to build what you want (as long as is doesn't break the bank). Plan ahead to add/ change what you can't afford now but would like in the future. Alot look like modding your truck.

Budget?? Whats that? I'm way over budget and we haven't even started. The area around here is growing so fast, the builders are naming their price. No one is looking for work.
