    I've got a couple great first aid kits but one thing I've noticed with most first aid kits is that the most common issue when out and about is Blisters..so I got this and added it to my Outer Limit kit....

    FYI..I've been stocking up with Wise Food 25 year buckets. Come in handy when camping/hunting not just zombie apocalypse. Came across an outfit called Valley Food Storage. got their free sample. Quite tasty stuff for 25 yr shelf life food. Irish Pub Cheddar potato soup. Valley even sells 1000 round .223 or 9mm in sealed long term mylar pouches or buckets.     Playing around with colored lens. Had to modify the lens with my Swiss Army knife. Ordered a pair of green lens. Green doesn't scare off the critters when I'm sneaking up early am to where I go hunting.

    Ok... 1st pic is a 4lb Wise Food Prepper Bucket. Everything inside mylar packed for 25 years. Don't care about that. Mainly for camping/hunting season. Also pic'd is a 2oz freebie sample from Wise. The other two are samples (pay shipping) from Valley Food Supply and MyFoodStorage .com..Waiting for another sample from Auguson Farms. Note....it's imperative to have a decent 1st aid kit but it doesn't hurt to toss in several mylar
    food packs....
    Also pictured is a $8 Russwin #1 vintage meat grinder I scored today at my local ARC Thrift store. could be a 100 yrs old. got home and checked eBay.. The few for bid were in crap condition. No longer usable. Collectable/curio/relic condition only. NOT mine........................(sacrificed a 2.2lb London Broil)

    Keep blood clotting agents as well. The better ones have some silver nitrates in them. Burn gel and gauze pads with with petroleum jelly.

    How I spent my freaking day......Son's coworker is giving him a pretty good deal on a 1998 Merc Grand Marqui with only 104 Kmiles. There is always a catch...The owner paid a nimrod Craigslist "mechanic" to install a new upgraded intake manifold kit to replace the leaking OEM one. The new version manifold corrects cracking/leaking issues which most Ford 4.6L's had. No recall of course..Kit comes with all hardware, new reconfigured alternator bracket , and thermostat. And..........INSTRUCTIONS!!!! Nimrod told owners wife that he was done. New manifold leaked even worse. Nimrod naturally would not return calls. Dealer quoted $1100 to $1300. No F'ing way! So.......my turn. It was clear that Nimrod did not use Ultra Black gasket maker or anything else. Several bolts missing. Intake manifold bolts weren't torqued. Some were way too tight and others not tight enough. Nimrod put old alternator bracket on which basically leaves the top of the alternator connected to....NOTHING!. One bolt was totally left off the throttle body! Thermostat housing was over tightened causing it to crack on one side! Took me almost 4 hours. A lot of stuff to take off and get back on with no parts left over....Fuel rails, coils, lots of connectors, hoses, more connectors, more hoses....Fun times ..................[​IMG]

    Everything works too. Does need AC recharge. Has new Michelins all the way around. Interior in excellent condition. I could easily drive that car...Was sort of surprised actually.

    Super clean. Not bad for 20 yrs old. Edmunds has private party for $1800 and Dealer at $2700. Son is paying $2K. Fair enough. It's nice having a car that can still do doughnuts!!!!

    No mushrooms yet so I decided to drive up Mt Evans with a billion other folks. July 28>>>>>>it snowed at the top parking lot for a few minutes. 14200ft+ at the lot. Spied a test Mercedes with Detroit plate. Not uncommon to see numerous test vehicles driving up there. A couple pics at Summit lake...12K ft. F**king cold as s**t with the wind. Colorado!!!

    Had a nice time up near ***** gold mine. If you are good....the one pic gives location. Grandson , with a little help, found 4 old 1870's era square nails. Three were 3" deep but one was 6". Found time to pick some hybrid blackberry's that we planted several years ago in the back yard after I got back. 2 beer job..Without beer.....5 minutes...
