I have a similar setup on my 17' and paid $39k before ttl.

plug your configuration into costco auto and make sure it wont give you a better deal.

 

6k off seems reasonable to me... but lets see what others have to say...

The 2018 are more expensive because of model year and safety stuff. I do like the safety stuff.

That’s about what I paid for my 2018. Took a while to find the Cement color, black interior, and limited premium package with sunroof. Had the dealer do a swap with another dealership about 90miles away (only dealer around with that exact truck in stock). I say do it!

 

You got a limited with a sunroof for that price???!!!

For $43k plus TTL. I also traded in my 13 Tacoma and bought my wife a 2018 Highlander the same day so I had a little more to bargain with.. considering your price is OTD I still think that’s a good deal. I got a good price on the truck but they still made off with a good amount of my money that day.

 

Once you buy the tundra drive to the strip club after and do this again

 

pretty fair deal cant really beat that price

 

Can I do it with pennies? Because that’s all I will have left! LOL!

I've talked to all the bosses and they won't budge. I finally caved today and told him let's do the deal, waiting on his reply.

I had a dealer in PA that I was shopping as well talk to me, told me if I can buy that truck for that price to do it. He can't come close.

I agree. I got closer to 7k off MSRP last October for my 2018 Limited CM, but certainly a fair price.

 

What color bro? I am thinking they are holding firm on cements because they are spread more thin than most of the others

 

There’s been a few of these “is this a good price?” Threads rolling around lately. Most seem to be able to get 5-10% off MSRP before taxes. (Best not to include taxes when comparing with others across the region as they very do widely). That’s the sales price of the truck not including down payment or trade in. Be careful not to get hosed in the back office in dealer/document fees.

>10% is rare. I’d say 5% is pretty common but >8% you’re going to have to shorten your “want” list and take what the dealer is trying to get rid of on the lot or know a guy.

2018s seem to be harder bargains and increasingly rare to get much better than 5% off.

That’s based on what I recall from what I’ve seen here anyway... I could be off base.

Silver. The dealership that I bought from actually had to trade a dealership another tundra to get it. The original dealership couldn't come close to the dealership that I ended up closing the deal with.
