Thanks, it has a lot of potential, especially for a 21 y.o ride.

Just had the tires put on. I'm thinking of some 1.25" spacers. Looks real narrow from the front.
Now I need to figure out this pesky P0446 code. My code reader is saying the char coal canister or it's open somewhere (electrical). Any ideas?

Very nice! This is what my wife wants. We still use the 3rd row in the sequoia though and until my kids can stop the treating her car like a pig pin, it’ll have to do.

Thanks! That's why she has the Limited, b/c of the 3rd row. I dont think there will be much modding on this one because its her's, well other than tinting the windows.

I do too! I was really happy that my youngest wanted one. It's our project vehicle. My wife had a 99 years ago, wish we never got rid of it.

You figure out the canister issue?

Yep, it is for sure the canister, not electrical. We are going to go to the pay and pull in the morning. If it doesn't work we are only out $20. If we get a new one it's $340 and it has to be ordered. I'm finally able to put some time into this. We'll go the cheap route first.

At first I was hoping it was a bad gas cap, nope not that easy. Then I showed the boys how to use a multi-meter to chase sparks. Needless to say we had continuity and the required voltage values up to the connections. So I'm assuming the sensors on the canister or the actual canister is bad. 21 years old and 235,000 miles. If this is the only issue it has, we can accept that.

The P0446 code doesn't bother me. It's my OCD, seeing that CEL bothers me. It runs fine, the gas mileage is at 17mpg. It's that daggum CEL, like a mosquito buzzing in your ear. I would drive that thing cross country tomorrow.

Use a roll of 3M 33, cut about 1/4” off, stick it over the CEL light on cluster. Good for another 150k or until tape falls off.

My luck the 3M wouldn't stick! Or our country would start emissions testing next week.

I hear that. El Paso County was close to doing emissions again.

I keep hearing rumbles of that. Considering we are over 1 million, that's a lot of money they can spitball with.

Thanks! That's the plan. We are going to replace the charcoal canister first, to get rid of that CEL.
