    You are correct !!! hopefully it fits good. I would try it before it gets painted once it's painted you can't send it back

    I’d say so. Working great for me since I installed them August last year. Like I said, I modified 894 bulbs instead of 886 for lower wattage, lower heat, just to be safer. I also had them in my Tacoma for many years and some very extended times in reverse. No melting or other issues.

    I’m pretty sure you 3rd gen guys still use the same stock 921 bulb, so shouldn’t be an issue.

    The only time I can see having an issue is if you are towing a trailer that has backup lights as well, but I can honestly say I’ve never seen a “light duty” trailer with backup lights. Just something to be aware of.
