Lets see it if you’ve done it. I have mine mounted to my bed rack but looking for a bed rail design for moving it inside. I can come up with my on but if someone else has a nice layout I would steal your ideas as easy as I can invent inexpensively

Did you use the bed rail mount in DV? I didn't look to see if you had it on.

that setup looks like it's screwed/bolted in, but click the link and you'll see that they can be used on the bed rails.

But it held up good. I had some wood under it and sandwiched it between some gear just in case. But held up good. :hattip: Thanks brotha!

With a loaded up bed it makes sense that it would stay in place. The problem is when it is allowed to move around.

    Too many to list
I took a different route and mounted the 2 gallon fuel & water rotopax to the bed extender. Doesn’t take any bed space and easy to take out when not needed.
I currently have total of 4 gallons fuel and 4g water. I might add 8 gallon fuel on the other side if I don’t upgrade my 26 gallon fuel tank.

yeah, all i did was put a different bolt with a little lock-tite. I think the bed rack also helps keeps that plate in place, because those little tabs that go into the rail are just loose in there, and don't really do anything. with just the 3 gallons it gets bouncy. if their was a support(rubber foot) behind the plate that rest on the bedside, I can see it helping with some of the bouncing .

You’re exactly right. Rotopax makes a longer plate to better secure the larger 4 gallon cans. I have one behind the seats of my rzr as well. The mount in the link would work great for the 2 gallon cans.

My 2 rotopax cans don’t move around at all. I don’t wheel the tundra too hard. Old 4Runner for that, then the rotopax lay flat in the roof basket.
The aluminum plate goes all the way to liner and fits into a slot. Eventually getting rid of factory liner for line X.
