Does anyone have any experience with the Access Adarac? I'm considering it as a cheaper tonneau friendly option than the Thule TracRac SR. My biggest concern is lateral movement and longevity.

I've installed several and think they're pretty decent. The Adarac isn't as finished as the Thule but for stuff like canoes, kayaks, and ladders it should work great. The mounting is fairly simple and they seem to be very durable. They've been around for quite a while.

Good stuff, thanks! Do foresee any problems with them supporting a 12ft long, 150lb jon boat on rough gravel roads?

I don't foresee any problems with that. The uprights are adjustable all the way to each end, so you'll be able to spread them out for a nice, wide foot print. And whether you do the Adarac, Adarac aluminum or the aluminum Pro, they're all rated for 500 lbs. The only thing the Adarac doesn't have are some type of load stops on the cross bars to keep things from shifting side to side.

Awesome. I may just go the Adarac route since it's about half the price as the Thule. I'm sure I can fab up some load stops if I find I need them. Thanks for the info.

None yet but plenty to come.
Their new all aluminum version is nice and will hold up better long term. Sold Access for 12 years always a fan of their product but if budget wasn’t a factor Trac Rac would be the preferred route.
